Great little pool dumbells – make sure you click the ends on when assembling
This is a nice little set of aquatic dumbbells. Based on other reviews I knew what to look out for when assembling, and made sure the end pieces clicked into place when putting them on the handles, see the video for details. While it would be nice for them to have come with some instructions, I felt that assembly was pretty intuitive, and snapped them all together in just a couple of minutes with no problems. It would also be nice if some pictures of suggested aquatic exercises were included. I am a physical therapist, so that wasn't really an issue for me, and very basic activities will be fairly intuitive for most people, but some ideas for use outside of the basics would probably be helpful for a lot of people. I tested them out in the pool and could definitely tell the difference in resistance with each of them. Hubs and I used them in various exercises for 20-30 minutes. The smallest ones are not much of a challenge, so I don't know how much I will really end up using them, but they were great for my 9 y.o.. Our kids also played with them for at least 30 minutes which should have been a pretty good test of their durability, as they were not easy on them. We did not have any problems at all with ends popping off of them. They stayed completely assembled the whole time we were using them. They are light weight and easy to carry around, but the larger 2 provide adequate resistance in the pool to feel them working your arm muscles, as well as using them in various ways to challenge your core. The grip is great, and the straps on the handle are also helpful. They will be a bit awkward to store, but that would be the case with any aquatic dumbbells. Overall I was really pleased with these, and I am sure they will be useful for years to come.
These weights have been a perfect addition to my pool workout equipment. The foam is durable and has held up to regular use. I have not noticed any mold or other breakdown of the weights. The bar is easy to grip and the weights are appropriately balanced for stability. The resistance is enough to provide a workout but not so extreme that they won't work for beginners. Overall, a good set to get you started in pool aerobics.
If this would of had instructions with it, it would have gotten a 5 star. 1. For those stating the end caps come off didn't line up the end cap and the hole in the handle, it snaps into place and it's doesn't come off. 2. There are six handles, two shorter than the other four, you'd think they went on the smallest dumb bells, but then don't, they are used on the medium ones. The medium size dumb bells are narrower than the small or large ones.
The variety of weights was helpful! Unfortunately the black plastic ends did NOT stay on the handle so the weights just popped off when you pulled the weight under the water! Maybe I could glue it to hold???

Wanted to like these but disappointingly flimsy. Colors and varying sizes were great. But, the plastic end pieces holding the foam on the handle bars came out almost immediately. The clips with notches did not pop back to lock in, so the foam just floats off the handles. Had to return.
A good basic set of "6 Pack Pool Exercise Water Dumbbells." When I got them they were a little high on price at 54 bucks, I see they have now dropped the price to $45 which is more what I think the value to be. It didn't take long to put together, just make sure when you push the ends in you align the little dots on the plastic plug with the holes on in the tube. It is easy to do after you are aware you need to do that. I wouldn't consider myself to be especially fit and the biggest ones are not hard to do what I want to do in the water. They will float so are most useful when you are pushing front to back or up to down. They are a dusty pink color. I think they are a good addition to my workout, it gives me a way to stregthen my arms while I hang out in the pool They are easy to hold on to.
Great pick color and a good way to strengthen the arms in the pool.

I got a pool, so why not add some pool aerobic weights? They’re actually a lot of fun. The EVA foam makes them super light on land but gives you plenty of resistance once you’re in the water. It turns simple movements into a solid little workout without feeling like a chore. The handles are comfortable, and the strap helps keep them from slipping around. They float well, and the mint color looks sharp out by the pool. Whether I’m just messing around or doing a focused workout, they make time in the water feel productive and enjoyable. For the price, they’re a cool way to mix in fitness with relaxation. Plus, it feels like a workout disguised as playtime, which is a win in my book.

Plugs don’t snap all the way. So sometimes they will pop off in the pool when using them.
