Effective blender for protein smoothies
It does the job and it does it well. It can handle frozen things to make a smoothie. It’s probably the largest blender I’ve owned, which I’m okay with though it’s a little larger than I need. The blades are tough. They create the smoothie quickly. No leaks so far. In terms of downsides, be very careful around the blades. With the blades extending up through the center of the pitcher, it is easy to get cut. Also, it can be a little tough to arrange the frozen items around the center blade. But as long as you are careful, this works really well.

Enough power to do the job
Another great Ninja product. I finally bought a vitamix. But I bought what was probably the only blender without a pulse button. On/off dial 1-10 and hi/lo switch. I gave it th hummus test. Worked ok on low dialing it up, but if you put it on hi, I was like a jet taking off. Extremely loud and shook everything. I thought it would burn out the motor. Returned it. Bought a low end Ninja and pocketed the cash back. It passed the hummus test easily, where I need the most power. I understand some people don’t like the “blade tower” but I think it really pays off for a number of things. That said, it does everything else very well. Bear in mind this is a $100 blender. Not a powerhouse, but quiet with enough power for the tasks you want. Smoothies, protein shakes, ice, etc. 96K 4.5 stars can’t be wrong. Unless you make peanut butter and hot soup, save your money. Highly recommended.

Love the power of this blender. Bought it specifically for smoothies. The smoothie function is great! Pulses until large pieces are broken down then blends until everything is nice and smooth.Highly recommend!
