Hydrorevolution

Isokinetic training using the properties of water and specialized drag equipment. The harder you push the higher the resistance.

Hydrorevolution aquatic drag equipment capitalizes on “the principle of fluid omni-directional drag resistance” in water. This means, being able to work a muscle group equally and smoothly in any direction.

Because the user’s own strength will determine the resistance generated, the same pieces can be used by all fitness levels. That’s why we are the recommended choice by aquatic therapists, wellness and strength coaches around the world.

    Ass kickin’ workout
Wish I had these a long time ago! I have just about every kind of swim workout item there is. I love these. They kick your butt. My legs and butt are sore from two workouts. Make sure to put the soft material all the way to one side so you don’t get scratched by velcro. I am hoping velcro lasts long enough to get my money’s worth out of them. They are nicely made, but velcro with chlorine worries me. Definitely washing them off with regular water after the pool. You can use them for water aerobic type of stuff or swimming laps and kicking. I try to make my own aqua boot camp with all this stuff. If you want a real workout, get these!!

    Helped me avoid Knee replacement
Both the blue ankle and the pink shin fins saved me from having knee replacement surgery. I’ve been using both resistance fins on each of my legs for three years now. So yes I have two different fins on each leg. I really wish the manufacturer would figure out a way to create a tighter fit for the ankle application. Like many other reviewer‘s, I have also found that the product will spin around and it is often impossible to tighten them enough to avoid this from happening. I think they actually need to create two different sizes and even though the newer ones seem to have better adjustment, they really are still not adjustable. Having said all of this I still cannot recommend these enough and I believe I accomplished improvements in my quads, hamstrings and glutes in a short period of time that would have taken probably a ridiculously long time and traditional land-based physical therapy.

If you want strong legs get these!
There is nithing to dislike. I’m on my second pair having worn out the first set. They don’t wear out quickly if you rinse them. in cool water after being in the pool. Use them at least 3x a week for at least 45 minutes and in a month or less you will see substantial results in your strength. They are a fantastic way to exercise in the water especially if you use the bells for your arms in conjustion with the ankle fins. Both are made by the same company. Green is the easier level, black is moderate level, blue is the most difficult. If you don’t have much strength start with green or black then work up to the blue set.

These do a pretty good job
These work pretty well to provide some resistance when walking. It is difficult to get them to stay tight enough (at least for me) I have to stop and adjust several times when walking a couple of miles. And be sure to be careful how you position them to make sure the fins are away from the inside of your ankle….you will only screw that up once!

These are a great addition for your pool workout
I’ve used a lot of different resistant devices over the years to give a boost to doing low impact workouts. These “fins” add a nice resistance level when swimming or even just paddling around in the pool. Every little bit helps, especially now as I’m recovering from a hip injury. I’m doing a fair amount of my physical rehab in the pool so I don’t make my situation worse and these help take my efforts up a notch.

Does not stay put; hurts to use
I want to like my Aqualogix fins, but I cannot get them to work on my lower body. Last year, I bought the maximum resistance (blue) fins for aqua-jogging, leg exercises in the pool, and slow flutter kicks with a kick board. Even on my first try, the fins loosened and eventually fell off. When they loosened, the fins would turn and the plastic blades would scrape against my opposite leg, or get tangled with the other fin. These problems do not affect me when I use them for arm exercises, but my foam water dumbbells and webbed gloves provide the resistance I need; and are much easier to use, more comfortable, and dramatically less expensive (and easier to put in a mesh bag with other stuff). I keep trying the fins on my ankles and calves, hoping that I missed a trick to get them to work properly. Instead of these fins, I recommend a pair of foam resistance cuffs that do not rely on Velcro. The foam kind are more comfortable, stay put, leave my legs unscathed, and cost less. They also do not take up a lot of room in my swim bag; and do not get tangled with my swimsuits, my goggles, my towel, or my aquajog belt. I feel dumb for not returning mine after I first tried them.I’m giving the Aqualogix fins two stars, because I can use them on my wrists for standing arm exercises, and they look cool. That said, I would not recommend these fins.

    Garbage
Rub my legs raw and the resistance is very low. There’s a much better brand available that I’ll go back too. Wasted money on these.

Great resistance, tightening may be an issue
I received these as a gift from my wish list. This was my second try with them this morning and I found it they did move around on my ankles. Can’t tighten them more. I did watch the video but I had to put them on with the fins on the outside of my ankles instead of pointing back as shown in the video. Water resistance is great. Had to take it easy due to hip and knee issues. Well made too.

I have lymphedema in my legs and wanted to increase the resistance while walking in the pool. They are perfect and definitely do the job. I have used them for a whole season with no complaints and they still look new.I also tried them at the local pool in the deep end jogging and again pretty amazing. The resistance is based on your speed.

I’m using the fins with highest level of resistance. I had double knee replacement surgery and need something I can wear in the pool for my physio. The fins provide resistance but no weight so they don’t work for my walking type exercises or where I have to bend and lift my leg. They are perfect for swimming but not so much for my physio, looks like I will have to go back to the sand filled weights which I hate for several reasons. I had very high hopes for these fins but sadly it’s not to be.The fins are comfortable to wear with excellent adjustability, even fit my fat ankles.
