Works well, but no built-in lithium battery as stated.
I was a bit confused when I first tried to use this, because this machine comes with a USB-C cable, and I also immediately saw the USB-C port on the right side of the machine, which led me to incorrectly assume that it had a built-in battery like most smaller devices nowadays have. But I wasn’t able to turn it on with any of the three buttons on the front face of the machine. Upon closer inspection, I saw that there is a battery door for AA batteries on the bottom of the machine, and the box indicates that the machine has to either be directly powered through USB (the USB cable is plugged into a power source while the machine is being operated) or by AA battery. This would still be fine, because the machine is pretty cheap (it’s a good value), except that the product listing states “Built-in Lithium Battery”, which is not accurate.In terms of operation, the machine is quite easy to use. The cuff has clear graphics to indicate which direction the cuff should be put on your upper arm relative to your shoulder, and just holding the Start/Stop button is enough to begin your measurement. After completion, the display very clearly shows your systolic, diastolic, and pulse, which are all easy to read and stay on screen for you. I haven’t really needed to mess around with the Set or Mem functions, since I was just interested in taking an immediate reading and not tracking or saving anything for future reference, but it’s nice that there are such features included if needed in the future.Overall, it’s a great machine, but the listing and the product should more accurate reflect one another.

Major upgrade from our old one.
A lot of people might not know that sometimes these blood pressure cuffs that you buy can be very inaccurate. I found this out talking to my doctor when my husband got diagnosed with high blood pressure. We thought he was okay based on the readings we were getting at home, but every time he went to the doctor it was coming up high. Thats when she said the issue could be that our meter wasn’t accurate. We then took it in and she tested it versus checking the manual way they do and turns out that was the issue. So we always make sure now that any meter we buy is tested against the doctors office. My doctor said most doctors will do est that accuracy for you if you just ask. It is so important because it could save somebody’s life. So, I just wanted to give you that information if you didn’t have it. I got this monitor because unfortunately the old one we were using just stop working. I did take this to the doctor’s office and to be tested and it is accurate so that makes me feel so much safer knowing we’re getting the correct readings at home. The large display is great. It is super easy to read even at night. Everything is right there in large lettering and clear. I like the pulse feature, that’s something my old blood pressure cuff did not have and it has been nice to be able to keep an eye on that as well. My husband had had high blood pressure for years now but in the last year we have noticed that mine has been coming back high at times. My doctor said I do not need medications but it is a good idea to keep an eye on it. The large memory bank is great because we can store both our readings and we are always having to give those numbers to the doctor for checkups. Not having to write them down every time because they are automatically store saves so much time and hassle. My old monitor didn’t have a 2 person feature either so this is a nice upgrade from what we were used to. I would say to anyone looking for a good, accurate cuff, this is a really good choice especially at only $25. But I also would always say better safe and sorry and have your doctor check the accuracy.

L’écran très lisible en couleur sur fond noir, même dans l’obscurité on voit tout et très agréable.2. Appareil de mesure (il ne faut pas oublier le besoin initial) bien étalonné. J’ai comparé plusieurs mesures avec un Omron qui avait lui-même comparé avec celui d’un médecin. Résultat 1% d’écart donc impeccable.Le seul point noir est peut être la consommation des piles car rapidement l’indicateur tombe à 2/3 et après 60 mesures il tombe à 1/3 durant le gonflage.A suivre l’état réel des piles

Cet appareil est très fiable pour une mesure effectuée, car il donne une lecture juste.La prise de tension est facile, car il est doté d’une grande facilite d’utilisation, et facile à transporter grâce à sa petite taille.Il est doté également de 2 options d’alimentation (pile+câble usb).Cet appareil je le recommande à 1000 %, pour sa conception simple et ses nombreux avantages.
