Can’t decide what it wants to be
The backpack looks cute and seems to be well made. It is a good choice for everyday use or city trips, and it offers a good variety of compartments and pockets for that purpose. However, based on its style and the product description, it appears to be marketed toward more serious hiking, and for that it is simply too small and too light duty. You can find solid 40‑liter or even 90‑liter hiking backpacks at a similar price.

Very well designed and built.
I needed a smaller pack to use on day hikes or for weekends. I like to be prepared, so I often bring a water bladder, first aid kit, manual compass, headlamps, snacks, possibly an additional water bottle, some sort of firestarter, and a map of where I’ll be hiking. This is perfect for that in that it’s not a huge bulky backpack, and no doubt has the capacity needed to contain everything I like the bring. The chest strap buckles is orange for visibility, and is built with a whistle like I’ve come to expect from outdoor styled backpacks (and it’s loud!). While I usually like the chest strap to be adjustable, this one isn’t, but it sits in a nice spot on my chest, so that isn’t an issue for me. The waist straps are thick and have a zippered storage bag on one of them, which I feel may be a biut overkill for the size of the pack, but I’m sure I would appreciate them if I’m loaded up more than usual for the longer hikes and trips. I do tend to take this type of bag traveling and walking all day around cities as well, so this will come in handy in those circumstances. The zippers are SBS, not YKK brand as I’ve come to expect, but they appear to be of similar quality. There are reflectors in strategic spots around the pack for night visibility, and one of them acts as a retainer for a water bladder’s drinking tube, plus it additionally has a plastic clip to perform the same purpose, and it’s the right size for my particular bladder. It has elastic water bottle holders on each side of the pack, which is handy since I often end up carrying my kid’s water bottles in addition to my own. Something else I like to have on hiking oriented packs is the adjustable bungee cables on the outside of the pack like this one has in order quickly stuff a jacket when it gets to hot, but leave it easily accessible once it cools down. Again, I often end up being the sherpa for anything my kids don’t want to hold, including their jackets. The fact that it’s a bungee net style means I can get down on the ground while holding one of my kids and the other kid can put their own jacket on the pack without having to unzip or me having to take the pack off. It also has a strap on the lower reflector on the outside to clip things such as carabiners or lights. One nice added touch is an included rain cover that zips neatly into a specifically allocated zippered compartment for storage when not necessary, which is most of the time, and so it doesn’t detract from internal storage. Inside, there’s the usual bladder/laptop compartment which fits my 15″ macbook pro without a problem, in addition to two netted storage areas in front of it, and the larger overall compartment as well. Once loaded, it has many compression straps to keep the load dispersed as close to your body as possible so that it doesn’t slide around on your back. All the3 sewing appears to be top notch and durable. In summary, this is an excellently designed, well-built and well-configured backpack that rivals top brands, but comes in at a much better value.

Nice bag
Pretty nice bag so far. I have taken it on one hike so far (about 2 hrs) and it was comfortable. Plenty of pockets. Straps were comfortable
