Perfect for my morning run!

Fit is super comfortable
Love this vest way more than I expected. I’ve been using the 12 lb reflective weighted vest for a week now and it’s been awesome. The fit is super comfortable. It feels snug and secure without bouncing around or digging into my shoulders. The weight is evenly distributed, so it doesn’t strain my back like I was worried it might. I can wear it for a full workout and not feel miserable halfway through.The reflective strips are a big plus. I do early morning and evening walks, and cars can definitely see me better. Makes me feel a lot safer compared to my regular dark workout clothes. My walks feel more challenging, my heart rate is higher, and even basic exercises like squats and lunges feel more effective. Definitely a good buy if you want to level up your workout.

Fairly Good, but not great.
Mostly it’s good.The “convenient pocket” is not “convenient” at all because it’s on our back. I can put my phone in it before putting the vest on, but, I do walking. If someone wanted to run like that, they would need the pocket to have some way to lock closed so the phone doesn’t pop out.The side connector going along the waist isn’t a soft smooth material. In fact, it’s kind of sharp and abrasive. So, when I swing my arms back and forth while walking I have to hold my arms out enough they don’t rub against it because it hurts. Mine kind of turns outward on the left side for some reason so the edge of it reaches out and it’s kind of sharp feeling. That material should be changed to something with a smooth outer layer.The fit allows for someone with a very large torso. But, makes it difficult (or impossible) to reduce the fit down tight for someone smaller. I’m over 6 feet tall and I can’t tighten it enough due to the bad design of the connectors. They should be on the front of the vertical weighted part so they can be pulled together so they’re right next to each other.I know someone who bought the 6lbs vest and its fit was very small. It couldn’t expand large enough to fit him. So, it seems the different vests (by weight) are also different sized vests which fit different sized torsos.How are these cleaned so they don’t get smelly? I don’t know. If I wash them in the sink will the iron sand rust? I don’t know. I do know that many hours of heavy sweating have made mine smelly, that’s for sure.It has held up during 150+ hours of use, so far.

I’m a 5’4″ woman and purchased the black, 12lb vest. It fits perfectly with the straps fully tightened. This is so well constructed with the weight evenly distributed throughout the vest and nicely padded shoulders, and front and back sides of the vest aren’t too close to rub against the skin during the natural swing of the arms. It’s also designed to lay from shoulder to mid back with nice quality elastic areas to hug the sides when tightened. It also seems like the back mesh pocket, which I’m sure is for a cell phone, could be used for small added weight pouches as a next step before getting a truly heavier vest. I have only used this for 2 days in my exercise routine and then also working around the house. Right now I have a walking pad workout and then I use a mini trampoline for “trampoline sprints sets”. I started using the vest immediately when I received it and I can really tell this vest will be such a positive addition to my everyday life and in helping my workout effectiveness. I am also impressed that it is such a good value for the money, looks like it will last a long time even with everyday use.

I’ve officially moved into my middle-age era with the purchase of this vest! I opted for the 12lb weight, which is perfect for treadmill walking during the winter months. This vest is comfortable to wear. The only thing I am unsure about is cleaning it, as the weight (which I think is sand) is not removable. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars.
