Solved Insomnia Problem!
My 12 year old daughter has big problems sleeping. Although we set a schedule and she’d go to bed around 9pm, she wouldn’t be able to fall asleep until 12 or 1:30am. She’d wake up several times throughout the night and then she’d be exhausted at school. She does stress out and have school anxiety, so coupled with the insomnia it was just a recipe for disaster. We had tried so many natural remedies, and even tried hypnotherapy. Nothing would help. She was cranky, constantly moody, had low energy and she had difficulty concentrating. Some nights she would cry because she was so tired but couldn’t sleep.I gave this blanket a shot in the hopes of it making things even a little bit better. It is a very heavy blanket (I got the 15lb one and my daughter is 120lbs). My daughter said it felt like someone was trying to flatten her. But she tried it and it’s GREAT! She fell asleep within 30 minutes and didn’t wake up all night! In the morning she felt refreshed and you could tell she seemed a lot less anxious. As to temperature, she said that it didn’t make her feel hot and she was comfortable all night.It’s been a week and we still have great success in this blanket. The bags and dark circles under my daughter’s eyes have gone down completely. She wakes up at 5am and says she feels like she has energy and doesn’t feel sleepy all the time. She has so much effort she decided she wanted to start working out in the mornings! Now I’m tempted to try it myself! I’ll steal it one night and update.But seriously people, this blanket saved my kid. I’ve seen some of these blankets go for way over $100. This was a great deal! Thanks for such a fabulous product.

Better, deeper sleep
I bought this because it was on sale and I heard good things about weighted blankets. I feel like I sleep a lot heavier and better when I have this on my bed. It’s great in the winter and keeps me warm. I got the gray one which is fine, not an exceptional color but blends in. Very heavy so you must plan ahead before getting into bed. You can’t just toss these covers around.

Heaven, truly.Buy an all cotton cover so it stays clean. Unfortunately mine (the cover) isn’t available anymore or I would recommend it. Another unfortunate is the right cover (that’s not too thin) will probably cost just as much as the weighted blanket. Another con, price fluctuates massively on this blanket. The one I purchased (pink, queen, 20lbs) went up like $40 a week afterwards and it wasn’t listed as a special sale when I got it. My advice, buy whatever color is cheapest and just get a cover of the color you actually want.Positives: WOW, I was late to work THREE times in one week due to this blanket, get the right weight (check their chart) and this is MAGIC. If you have joint paint particularly in your knees maybe go lighter but otherwise go by your weight and it’s amazing. I had a lighter one and it was nice but the heavier one is HEAVEN. Like a constant hug that never gets hot or uncomfortable. Also just in case you already have a cover this has 3×3 layout of the loops to tie to the cover, I only mention this cause some covers are 4×3.4 stars is simply due to random price fluctuations.

Game changer for my sleep!
This was hard for me to get used to, in fact I started a return. I’m so glad I gave it some more time. I have had sleep issues for 40 years, I’m a psychologist with a very serious history of anxiety. This weighted blanket is really working. I’m getting nice deep REM sleep. I highly recommend trying one out.

When it got delivered, the cover/bag holding both the blanket and the duvet cover I bought were opened and the blanket arrived with threads and “dust” from the delivery. Not sure if this is the fault of the seller or not.The tag on the blanket was completely cut off and hence there is no cleaning instructions. The reviews all state different instructions on how to actually clean this blanket, if you look up the twin version of this blanket it says spot clean and flat dry, while the official instruction from the tag on the blanket says dry clean.Maybe that is why it was cut off so people do not dry clean the blanket as it may have been the wrong instruction??? But if you remove the tag and do not put instructions on how to clean the blanket and have to dig through reviews to come to a conclusion it is not a good look.I have no idea how to clean the actual blanket now except for using a lint collector to pink up all the dirt from the blanket and use the duvet cover and pray I do not dirty the bed if the duvet cover were to open.As for the blanket itself, its a weighted blanket and serves its purpose well. This blanket along with the duvet costs about $100SGD when I bought it which is a lot cheaper than others. Its a shame the cleaning instruction is non existent and if you are worried about your hygiene like I am it is a headache to try to find a way to clean it.

I’ve waited a long time before purchasing a weighted blanket mostly because they can be super expensive. This was a great affordable option. Its a perfect size – just my size as I’m a notorious blanket stealer and its super airy and comfy. I have massive anxiety and insomia. This is perfect for falling asleep and when I wake up in the middle of the night. It feels like a giant hug. Go get one you will not be disappointed!

I bought this for my son who is 34 and has anxiety. It was supposed to be for Christmas but he wanted to give it a try as I thought it was expensive. But he loved it so much he never gave it back. I was sceptical that something like this would work but it does. He sleep’s really well at night time. Well worth the money. I hope anyone else buying this has the same results.
