Comfortable grip. Easy to add weights. I like the shape, they don’t roll away when you set them down.Good product and quality. After 3 months, I’m ready to move to higher weights. It would be nice if Icould buy a 6 lb grip and still use the same .5 lb weights, then buy a 10 lb grip and keep using the .5 lb weights, etc.

These dumbells are perfect for me. I have small hands and short fingers and I can grip them just fine. I am 68 years old and I like that I can just clip on or clip off the additional 5 lb weight to either side. Very easy … even for arthritic hands/fingers!

Great for Surgery Recovery, Locking Mechanisms Betters than Others
I purchased these to use in my physical therapy after ECU and TFCC wrist surgery. The fact that you can gradually increase by 1 lb. is beneficial. I can see it as a good system for those who like a light weight for walking or aerobics and increased weight for focused training. I chose these over other options because of the full locking mechanisms on the sides.

Very versatile weights
I purchased these weights for physical therapy and to allow myself to increase the weight as therapy progressed without filling my house with multiple pairs of handweights. These are awesome for my purpose!! They are 5.2 lbs when fully assembled, so a little overweight, but you can adjust them in 0.5 lb increments starting at 2.0 lbs. The weight modules are easily to attach and remove, and are very secure when attached. The hexagon shape is convenient because they don’t roll away and can be stacked. The grip feel and size is very comfortable for me (I have XL hands). You can also put extra weights on one handle and go over 5 lbs, but only can use one weight at a time then.

Greatly enjoyed the modularity and ease of use. However, after a few months I found that the locking mechanisms start to come loose and then eventually snap and become unusable. Nevertheless I got a lot out of these and have since moved on to heavier weights.
