My Wide-Footed, Overpronating Savior
Listen, if your feet are as complicated as mine—flat, overpronating, prone to Plantar Fasciitis, and wide enough that they’re constantly trying to stage a prison break—finding the right sneaker is an Olympic sport. Thankfully, the Saucony Excursion TR14 actually gets it right.Style and Comfort: A Great First ImpressionFirst off, let’s talk looks: these are a great-looking sneaker. Saucony consistently nails the style while delivering on performance, which is a rare feat. They look sharp enough for everyday wear but clearly mean business on the trail. The Secret Weapon: The Toe BoxThis is the part that will make fellow wide-footed folks cheer. I swear, my right big toe operates under the delusion that it needs to break free and escape the confines of any shoe, often leading to premature wear holes. But the TR14 has a wide toe box. My toes have room to move around, breathe, and generally exist without being squeezed into submission. If your toes feel like they’re constantly fighting a losing battle, this shoe is your salvation.Support for Problem FeetI am an overpronator with flat feet and a mild form of Plantar Fasciitis, which means I need serious, thoughtful support. The TR14 provides that base-level cushioning and stability that keeps my feet from screaming at me by the end of the day. While I am currently being fitted for custom orthotics (because my feet demand premium treatment), the built-in support is robust enough to handle the workload until the orthotics arrive. It’s an excellent, reliable platform.Highly Recommended (The Saucony Fan Club)I absolutely, 100% recommend this sneaker. I am a serious Saucony devotee; I currently own about five pairs and use them for specific tasks. I have:- My dedicated pair for daily wear and tear at work.- Another pair strictly for running/walking.- And crucial backup pairs waiting in the wings so I can seamlessly swap them out the second the sole on my main pair starts looking tired. All in all? Great price, great sneaker, great everything. It’s tough enough for the trails but comfortable enough for everyday abuse, and it actually accommodates a foot that refuses to be constrained. A winner!

Great quality, style and fit.
My foot Dr. recommended this brand for pain issues. Most of them were quite costly, however these are a great, comfortable , nicely styled pair. Very well made and good for walking and hiking. I liked so much I bought another style as well. Sizing is accurate and handles water well.

Great shoe for the price
Very good trail walking/hiking sneakers for people who wear a size 10 or more; extra width is provided for in this size and the shoes are sturdy and comfortable.

Nice shoe, except for the lack of decent cushioning.
I ordered these shoes as I’ve had Saucony brand previously and was happy with them. I figured a trail running shoe would have decent cushion, and since I’m a dog-walker I put in a lot of miles every week. Well, the cushion in these is pretty much zero. I pulled out the insole, which is about 1/8″ thick and immediately put one of my other inserts into the shoe, just to make it basically tolerable. I’ve been in love with the Brooks shoes, some of which have great cushion, but I was looking for a less pricey option that still had decent tread. I really like the overall fit of this shoe, and the tread on the bottom is great (which I need when I do dog agility and run on grass or packed dirt). So, plan on putting some kind of insert into this if you are a person that likes any type of cushion and basic support in your shoe (who doesn’t?). For the price, I might consider these again in the future, just planning to spend another $30-$40 on an insole of some kind. I’ll have to see how the tread wears with some use, so far they are very comfortable to walk in and have really good grip on the sole.

Decent and affordable
Affordable great pair of running shoes. Saucony has always been my go to for fit, price and comfort.

Great shoes so far.
I normally get Merrell shoes but decided to take on chance on these based don’t he reviews. They feel incredible on my feet and have very good arch support and a wide toe area. I really need good support because I am on my feet a lot and these do not disappoint. I will say that I thought they would be more charcoal or dark gray colored based on the photos and they are not. They are light gray. However, they are cute and fun and I don’t mind that they are not exactly as pictured. My feet have been happy over the last few days walking miles in these, doing work around the garden, and with general use on errands around town. They are easy to walk in and I plan on taking these with me when I travel as my general hiking and easy use shoes. They appear very well made and with a few days of heavy use show no signs of wear and look brand new.

Not for high arches
Zero arch support, almost negative. I have high arches and even tried them with my inserts, but they weren’t enough. Lightweight, great grip, and fairly comfortable, unless you have high arches.

I purchased these because I needed a good pair of runners at an affordable price to work retail shifts in. My previous pair from a competitive brand, although comfortable, were not well made and ripped probably a week into wearing them. I still got a lot of wear out of them and wore them untill they were too gross to continue.I went through many reviews before settling on these shoes. I do a lot of walking, sometimes spending 8-12 hours at a time on my feet and I have very high arches so finding shoes that are comfortable is difficult for me. People in the reviews had mentioned that they were good for their high arches and comfortable after wearing in. My size was available on sale, so I thought, why not?Well…I wore them on my first shorter shift today…4 hours long…and I will tell you that my arches are killing me. I had to stop into a store and buy arch support insoles. As far as everything else goes…they look nice, are very well made and durable, and I don’t mind the colour compared to what was shown on screen. I also went with the reviews who said to size up a half size and while they still fit, I probably also could have gone with my normal size and been ok.I think they will last for a while and will be alright to wear as long as I keep the arch supports in them. It’ll be hard to tell untill I’ve worn them a few times, but I’ll update if anything changes.

Best shoes for comfort. I’m on my feet all the time. And need a good quality runner. Great traction feet don’t sweat it allows air flow. Great support for those who need for heels. I always buy the same runners for the past 6 years have in the different colors they have. Long lasting. Takes a long time to wear down before having to buy another pair
