Great vest ladies!

5 out of 5 stars

Great vest ladies!
I love this vest! The vest sits very high so the pockets are harder to get stuff out & in. But I have never chaffed! It has two pockets on the back, you can fit a good about in there, the material is very stretchy! Has a built in whistle & a zipper pocket for phone. I’ve adjusted the straps 1 time the two years I’ve owned it. It never came loose. I’ve machine washed & dried it several times with no problems! I’ve ran all my long distance races with it including my 100 miler! The straps are ambidextrous on all 4 sides so very adjustable for all chest sizes. This one is a medium. I normally wear a medium-large.

I have been a trail runner/racer for many many years. I have gone through so many packs trying to find the best one. I have never "hated" a pack but just kept looking for my ideal pack. I have found it……I have used Nathan's Hydration, One Direction, Osprey, and several others. I also have the Osprey 15 and although I like it I don't love it. The waist belt is cumbersome and the waist pockets are positioned too far back. I use it mostly for hikes or much longer runs. I also have an UltraSpire little pack that doesn't have much storage but good for a quick out and back run with handhelds for water. The Dyna is my answer for a fantastic in-between for these two packs. It is really a catch-all. Perfect amount of front pockets for gels, headlamp, earbuds, nutrition and quick access items. The pouches don't gap and lay snug with some elastic give to reach things without stuff falling out if you lean forward. The cell phone access zip pocket on the chest is perfect for my iPhone (so many packs don't hold iphones well if at all). The back zip holds at least a 1.5L bladder. I have used the Osprey bladder (actually the least liked of all the bladders) that i came with, a camelbak bladder, and a platypus big mouth bladder. I like the camelbak bladder with it the best. The quick disconnect tubing is awesome and I replace the bite valve with the platypus bite valve. The Osprey bite valve is too easy to chew through with frequent use of your teeth to squeeze it open). Also there is no quick disconnect tubing of the Osprey- maybe they have a bladder like that that they sell separately?
There is also another pocket outside of the bladder pocket for a light rain jacket or something for quick access.
The other smaller packs I owned would cinch tight with adjustable straps on the sides of your ribs under your arms to create a nice comfy snug fit, one that you can adjust as your water increases or decreases on your back. This pack doesn't have that and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't feel I needed it. It stays snug the whole time. The front two straps are adjustable on the fly. The clip system on the chest takes a little getting used to and I don't feel it is really "fast". It is a minor complaint. It has not come open on me on accident mid-run so that is nice.
The mesh shoulders breathe well and I haven't found myself sweating too much from the pack. I barely can feel it there most runs and often sort of forget it. Nothing sloshes and nothing bounces!!!! It is a snug very comfortable pack that seems to mold to my body.
This is a very beautiful green/teal color. I originally got a small as I am 5'5 145lbs athletic build with a 34/36D chest. It fit almost perfectly but a little snug under the armpits and slightly too much ontop of my breasts. So I traded for the medium and it fits like a glove- nothing rubbing and cupping the breasts nicely on either side with room to snug tighter with front straps if needed.

I was concerned when buying this about the fit (given the lack of ability to adjust the shoulders) and the possibility of chafing. Glad to report that neither has been an issue! I love the fit. No bounce, and even a slight compression to help keep things stable up top.
The included bladder is SO much preferable, for me, than the CamelBak bladder I used for a race in April. When it came time to try to refill THAT one, I had such a a hard time getting it unscrewed, and then had to open and close it up a second time when I went to take off from the water station and had water leaking from the pack immediately.
This Osprey bladder is SO much more user friendly, especially for fingers during a race that might be slightly swollen/sweaty. It loads from the top and closes like a Ziploc, and then you fold it over and slide on an attached bar to seal it up. No issues with leaks and super easy to open and close as needed.
Pockets are plentiful and one has a hook to make sure your keys stay secure!

Bought it for her for Mother’s Day. This thing does not disappoint. It is of that osprey quality we have all come to know and love. She raves mostly about the comfort which she says it feels like it’s a part of her. She almost forget she has it on. The pockets are nice and deep for her to keep plenty of snacks and even an extra little water bottle. Ya know those soft ones that are like little bladders? This pack is awesome that I might get one for myself for hiking. It seems so much more convenient considering ya don’t need much more than 6L for even the more technical hikes. Might even get the gray one to match with her. I won’t look as fabulous or adorable as she does I know this but I just wanna be cool like her.

I bought this for running because I love my 15L Dyna Osprey running backpack that I use for commuting but wanted something lower profile for long runs. It’s perfect. Lots of pockets and zippers to keep things accessible or safe. There’s room for two soft flasks on the front if you need more hydration or want to use the bladder compartment for something else. I’m 5’1, 115lbs and a cup size A. The small pack fits great with lots of room for adjustment.
