Excellent helmet for a fair price. Same quality and feel as the name brands for a fraction of the cost. The sizing is spot on and the comfort and adjustability are also spot on. The appearance of the helmet is on par with the name brands.

Above average quality helmet for the price. My only gripe is the name “Safuty” but it scratches off.
It’s a solid helmet for the price. It felt more premium than I expected at this price point. The dual-shell design (PC outer + thick EPS foam) feels solid, and the fact that it’s CPSC/ASTM certified was reassuring. At about 340 grams, it’s light enough that I can wear it on long rides without neck fatigue, and the 16 vents do a great job of keeping airflow moving on hot days.The matte finish makes it look more high end than a lot of the cheap glossy helmets. And the large visor is perfect for trail riding — it blocks sun, branches, and mud spray. It’s easy to put on. The dial adjustment system works well to fit it to a specific head size, though not quite as refined as higher-end helmets. I also appreciate the removable liner since it’s easy to wash after sweaty rides.That said, there are a few things that bug me: The brand name (“Safuty1st”) doesn’t exactly inspire confidence as Giro or Bell. I mean, it looks like a type-O. I could never buy this for my teenager haha. And for my own dignity, I solved it with a sticker. But it could also be scratched off if you didn’t like it.On a more important note, it doesn’t have MIPS protection, which many premium riders look for. The visor is on the bulkier side, so road cyclists might find it overkill. And while the product photos show goggles, just note: they aren’t actually included.Overall, this is an excellent mid-budget helmet: safe, comfortable, and versatile. If you want high-end features like MIPS, ultralight weight, or race-level fit adjustment, you’ll need to pay more. But for everyday MTB riders, this is a solid buy.I think it’s above average for the price so I give it four out of five stars. Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
