Attractive, Comfy, Well-Made, Compact, Portable Meditation Bench
This bench has really changed my life for the better. I was struggling to get comfortable with a meditation pillow, but could never seem to sit right. When I found, ordered, and received this bench, my aches and pains when sitting totally went away, and the quality of my meditation improved substantially.This bench is like a cloud that you float on top of. You lose sense of your body, you’re so comfortable. Importantly, it’s high enough off the ground to keep your knees feeling good n happy. Most other benches on Amazon aren’t high enough up off the ground. This bench was obviously designed by meditators, for meditators. It also has the angled legs, which keeps your butt higher than your knees.Other great features: It’s very cute and attractive. The bamboo looks great, the cushion looks organic and natural, the bench is engraved with some nice inspirational words and designs, and the beautiful bag pulls the whole thing together.It’s SUPER PORTABLE. The bench folds up nice and tight. When you slip it in the bag, you’re blown away by how…compact the whole thing is. It’s not heavy either, so you can definitely carry it wherever you want. It fits neatly in the bag, which comes with a handle for easy carrying.Customer service is great. They are active on social media, and they got back to me right away when I had a question. They seem like some neat, friendly, put together people. Those reviewers saying they don’t respond obviously aren’t trying very hard to reach out, I’ve had a whole conversation with them.It’s well made. The hinges are huge and strong, and it seems like it could support a good amount of weight (I included some pictures). I’d check the weight limit, obviously, but this bench is not going to randomly collapse or anything. Sturdy for sure. It doesn’t rock at all either. Me and the bench are still as a stone the whole time we meditate.Ummm…. Aside from that, I’d just try it out. I’ve been on this bench just about every day since I got it. I spent a lot of time looking online for the right bench, and I’m super happy I found Monk and Llama. A good meditation bench is like a lifelong friend. I’m sure I’ll have this bench for a number of years. Believe the good reviews for sure. I was a little nervous at first because I saw a couple negative reviews, but those nerves went away when I got my lovely bench. I even just bought one for my brother for Christmas, he loves it too :)tl;dr WORTH IT

Very Nice!
I ordered this prayer bench for my practice of centering prayer. Was looking for something that would be more comfortable than sitting cross legged on a prayer cushion for twenty minutes. It is significant that I am overweight and not very flexible. The bench has been a very nice solution to my dilemma. It is of simple, durable construction and supports my 240lbs with no issue. The removeable cushion is also of good quality and very comfortable. The legs fold well with the straps of the cushion secured to the bench so it can be used, folder and stored with no extra steps. The carrying bag fits well. The whole thing is light enough to be carried easily in one hand but not so light that it’s going in my backpack on a multi day hike. I really like the kneeling posture during meditation! The bench supports a good portion of my weight and keeps my feet from going to sleep during twenty minutes of kneeling. I ordered a quilted prayer mat along with it to facilitate using the bench on a hard smooth surface and they work well together. All in all I am very pleased with this simple little prayer bench.

The first bench I received collapsed at first try. The screws that secured the hinges stayed in place and the leg came off with the hinge. It happened because the heads of the screws where smaller than the hinge opening. I figured it was a mistake and sent it back. Another was sent and before I knelt on it, I looked at the screw heads; they weren’t much bigger than the holes they were supposed to secure. I felt that I didn’t want to take another chance at hurting myself and I’m in the process of sending it back.I did receive the items in a timely manner.

I can’t say enough about my Monk & Llama bamboo folding meditation bench.It comes with a handy carrying case and folds up small enough to fit in a backpack so I can literally take it anywhere which is great for getting out in nature. The case is lightweight and even has a pocket for keeping a meditation journal handy.I’m already in love with the design for ergonomic posture which makes for comfortable meditation anywhere. It even serves as a comfy footstool around camp, which being short, I appreciate immensely.The quality and craftsmanship excel my expectations so I have no worry of it breaking or collapsing under my voluptuous frame.I also love that Monk & Llama use ethically sourced materials and renewable bamboo. I highly recommend the Monk & Llama folding bamboo bench to enhance your meditation practice.

I honestly loveeeee my monk and llama meditation bench I think it’s so comfy and versatile for my practice. The cushion on top is cute to look at but not super functional and has me sliding on the bench so I ended up taking it off and displaying the beautiful affirmation carved on it and it’s really just as comfy. The carrying case is adorable and the hinges on the legs are made well at least to my knowledge. Very sturdy as well and nice quality.I’ve had friends and my mom try it on the other hand and they were having the hardest time getting adjusted and comfortable and didn’t quite get it or why I like it so much lolSo just with all things in life it depends on the person ! If you’re one that generally likes to sit on your feet and tired of your poor foots getting the rough end of it then this is perfect !I also ordered 2 by mistake and the return process for the second one was super super simple
