I use this scare regularly and have been very pleased with how easy it is to use. I can put a plate or bowl on it when it is off, turn it on, and it still shows 0 oz so I can measure the weight of the food only. If I don’t want to use a plate or bowl, just turn it on and it will go to 0 oz. The display is large and bright so I can read it easily even is the plate is partially covering it. I had to learn how to turn it off since you can’t just press it once like you can to turn it on. You have to press it multiple time until is cycles through the various options. This isn’t a problem for me.
