A sure thing you can count on for everyday
I genuinely love this product! Some background: I have combination skin and often have difficulties finding a good color match due to time faded freckles all over my face. I am in my early thirties and I feel like my skin is in that weird in between phase where I am starting to get a few fine lines and my skin is starting to lose a little bit of its glow. I want to make sure I’m using products that are going to be gentle as my skin ages but also help me get some serious natural looking glow back. So I’ll list the reasons this product is now my everyday go to!1. The coverage is buildable and isn’t heavy. I also have the kabuki brush and I like that I can have variations of coverage in different areas and it will all still blend together seamlessly.2. I use a liquid concealer for my eyes. This powder blends over it well and doesn’t cause the concealer to cake up underneath like some other products I’ve tried.3. The blurring and brightening effect is just beautiful! It has given me my natural glow back.4. I use shade medium and I find it works very well with my freckles and complexion. It doesn’t mismatch my neck or look too light/dark. ANDDDD it doesn’t show up orange! Big win!5. I don’t really need to use liquid foundation anymore because I get such good variation in whatever coverage I want.6. Touch ups are very easy. I can go from less coverage during the day to simply adding more coverage at night before I go to dinner or anything like that.7. Easy to travel with. I have started keeping it in my bag every day.8. It doesn’t irritate my skin.9. For a powder, it holds well throughout the day without clogging your pores. I don’t need a setting spray.10. Because of the formula’s versatility, I feel that this is a great powder for ALL age types. My mom (age 65) now uses it and so does my younger coworker (age 26).Overall, great quality, versatility, broad coverage range, brightening, shade matching, and skin gentleness. Pricing is very reasonable as well. I’m truly grateful I found this as my new everyday foundation!

WOW. JUST WOW. 4.5 out of 5; minus a little for no color/shade samples
I’m almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks.This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option – like a retracting kabuki, as recommended – might work better for building.Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer.Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!…or, at least, “not bad for an old broad, not at all!”.I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly.It’s FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes.Found it difficult to shade match – but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult?Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive “sampler” (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process.I tried “PORCELAIN” first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing “FAIR” looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I’m more peachy, like the “LIGHT” model – but I’m super pale…but … but.. hem ..haw..Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn’t quite right, as I have. “Samplers” would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints – just sayin’.Step up,😀Laura Geller. Age defining fountain of youth!
All women at least over 50 should try this amazing powder. We already have a beautiful face & this powder enhances our natural beauty. I do not use any other powder now that I tried this. I am 60 & I am told that I look like I am in my late 40s. The product goes on nicely with the brush & it does feel nor appear that I have to much makeup, you look bright and you have a nice finished look. It stays fresh all day long, as well as adventurous times at night. It does not come off on pillows during hose times when you cannot remove before bed. You still look fresh! No skin irritation, texture great & it does not look too thick on your face, it blends in with all of your earned wrinkles & facial scars, the product does not highlight those features you might want to hide. I love the product, I wish I had used it years before.

Great powder foundation
I really like this powder foundation overall. It goes on very nicely and smoothly, and it blends easily into the skin. It gives great coverage without feeling heavy, and it leaves a natural, even finish that looks polished but not cakey.The only downside for me is the scent. I can definitely smell it while I’m wearing it, which isn’t my favorite thing. It’s not overpowering, but it’s noticeable enough that I wish it were fragrance-free.Other than that, it’s a great powder foundation and one I’ll continue to use.

Good product; just not what I expected
I purchase the “Light” and it was too dark for my skin. I’m thinking the porcelain would be the better option if you have a fair/pinkish complexion like mine. In other brands the Light is usually my go-to so I was making an assumption. Also, it was more of a powder than what I was assuming was going to be a powdered foundation. Not a bad product but just not what I was expecting. Perhaps I didn’t do my research on what they consider to be a “baked foundation”.

My wife bought this and she loves it. she has fair skin and the color is perfect and covers what she wants covered. she says it can feel a bit dry when first applied but lasts all day without setteling in to fine lines

After using the same foundation for the past 10 years, it was time for a change. The foundation I used in my 40’s no longer looked good in my 50’s and sat in my fine lines or made my skin look caked & dry.I’d done lots of research into different brands and it was a choice between Jones Road or Laura Geller. After watching a lot of videos, reviews & tutorials decided to give LG a go as it was less expensive.I’ve always brought make up in store but was reassured by their free returns/exchange policy incase the shade wasn’t right.I also liked the fact that they were Cruelty Free – something that was important to me but not immediately obvious on their website, I had to do some research to find this out (Laura Geller you’re missing a trick here!)I was pleased with the packaging and how the product looked but was really impressed with how the actual product worked for me.I’ve found dabbing a little on at a time with a big brush helps build the coverage to your liking. It definitely doesn’t sit in my fine lines and doesn’t look cakey. You can achieve a natural look easily and it’s long lasting. It definitely covers the redness on my nose & cheeks.I’ve been so impressed with this I ordered the next shade down too as my skin colour changes in winter in the UK when I lose my tan.I also ordered the Baked Starter Kit direct from LG in the USA as the discount was better. I’ve been beyond impressed with this. As a blonde with pinky tones, the colour choices are perfect and the products stay put. I’ve never been able to blend eyeshadow effectively but this colour combo and product makes me look like a pro!!So, a big YES for Laura Geller from the UK for me, great value for money and great products which are easy to use and compliment mature skin beautifully!

Ich mache mir selten die Mühe eine Rezension zu schreiben, dieses Puder hat es allerdings verdient! Als Kosmetikerin kenne ich allerhand Bräunungspuder, dieses ist unschlagbar!Ich bin ein eher blasser Herbsttyp und habe mich trotzdem an das dunkle Toffee gewagt und siehe da es wirft ein wunderschönes Braun in mein blasses Gesicht 👌Mit dem richtigen Pinsel ein Highlight zu setzen, schafft jeder!
