Very useful if you already own a good set of dumbbells.
I really like these kettle grips. Highly recommend if you already own a set of good quality steel dumbbells. They work great for me. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews. I have two of these and use them with everything from 15lb to 50lb dumbbells. My dumbbells are all steel and all fit securely into the grip. I don’t have any of the cheap vinyl or rubber coated dumbbells so perhaps they won’t fit? I also use these to do kettlebell swings using a 40lb steel dumbbell with absolutely no problems. I am average male height and build. I use regular kettlebells at my local Y for a weekly class and I find these to work almost as well for most exercises without having to spend loads of money on a set of kettlebells.

Great versatile weight tool to have it at home
I have not had a chance to use it yet, but the quality is excellent. It does open and close so I can tell it’s gonna be a nice exercise tool to have very versatile to check out the videos.

Great Kettle Grip Handle

When I first received the Kettle Gryp, the packaging was simple and secure, and the handle felt solid right out of the box, with a textured grip that didn’t feel slippery. I’ve been using it with my existing dumbbells to replace kettlebell movements at home, and it does exactly what it claims without taking up extra space, which is huge when you don’t want more equipment lying around. The weight distribution feels stable once attached, the handle is comfortable even during longer sets, and it works with multiple dumbbell sizes I already owned. Build quality seems durable so far, and it’s held up well through swings, goblet squats, and carries, though setup takes a few seconds and it’s not quite the same feel as a true kettlebell. The grip is smooth similar to most kettle bells, unlike dumbbells which have knurled grips. These open like a George Foreman Grill and snap onto the dumbbell handle with the hinge at the bottom. The cheap competitors hinge at the top which makes the competition much weaker.It is tight on large metal-handle dumbbells (over 60-pounds) but still works perfectly.

Nice tool but handle design definitely needs improvement
I really liked the idea behind this product and decided to give it a try since I already own dumbbells. The concept of turning a regular dumbbell into a kettlebell is smart and very practical, especially for home workouts.The build quality is solid and sturdy. The construction feels strong, secure, and well-made — no complaints there. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and makes the dumbbell much more functional for kettlebell-style exercises.However, there is one important downside. The handle itself is made of smooth plastic and does not have any non-slip coating, texture, or rubberized grip. There are no ridges or grip bumps, so during workouts the handle tends to slide in the hand, especially when your palms get sweaty. This affects comfort and grip confidence during exercises.I believe the product would be significantly better if the handle area were made from a non-slip material or had a textured surface for a more secure grip. This small improvement would make a big difference in overall usability.Overall, it’s a great idea with solid construction, but the handle design definitely needs improvement.
