I’ve been putting 2 tbsp of this protein powder + half and half in my coffee every day for the last 6 months or so for a boost of protein in the morning. I use an immersion frother, which works splendidly. I find it mixes better in hot coffee than cold drinks. Fairly mild taste overall. Extremely great price. I like that it’s just simple ingredients, not a bunch of additives and sweeteners like many protein powders. The macros are great. Will continue to use this for the foreseeable future!

edit: Not Quite What I was Hoping For
I was hoping this would be the unicorn: a protein supplement that is 1) unflavored 2) unsweetened 3) inexpensive.I want something to use this in place of the plant based protein powder I have been using that was unsweetened but rather expensive and not super tasty. Based on reviews I thought I’d try thins but I have to say I’m really on the fence.It’s o.k. stirred into Greek yogurt but I don’t love the flavor and find I need to add a lot to fruit to mask it. Not the worst thing but not ideal.I tried putting some in oatmeal like I do with my other protein powder and it curdled, so I guess you can’t use this in anything hot. Breakfast ruined but lesson learned. I’ll make it through this bag but I can’t imagine buying it again so the search for a palatable protein supplement continues….EDIT: Changing my mind about this stuff. I tried this in a smoothie and it’s actually really good – not gritty at all which is rare for protein powder. So as long as I use it in cold things it’s a good go to! I’m going to try overnight oats to see if it will work that way.

This one one of many things I tried to increase protein before finding premier protein shakes. Right now, it is really hard to suggest anything but premiere protein because that’s the only thing I actually like the taste of, but this wasn’t horrible to mix in the small amounts into stuff or even stuff in pills to swallow. That said, I don’t like the taste and packing in a dozen pills for a tiny amount of it isn’t actually realist long term. It’s used to be hard to find good tasting protein sources and I understand the temptation too just try tasteless powered, but this basically is just the taste every other product tries to cover up with flavor and that’s for a reason, it’s not a good taste. Still 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised. For people looking for something that tastes good, premier protein chocolate tastes like chocolate milk for real and I suggest thar.

Whey protein powder is my favorite protein powder, and this one is my favorite whey protein powder. I make a protein shake every day, and this one has not let me down in any way. It has a nice milky flavor, it has no weird background flavors, smells, or textures. It mixes well too. I want to get 15 grams of protein in my protein shake, and with this powder, that works out to a scant 1/4 cup. I have a 1/4 cup measuring cup that lives in the bag of this protein powder, so it’s easy to get what I need.
