Product description

What does the irregular heartbeat indicator mean?
The blood pressure monitor checks for irregular pulse patterns during measurement and displays an indicator if one is detected. It does not diagnose heart conditions. If irregular readings persist or cause concern, consult a healthcare professional.
Which arm should I use and how tight should the cuff be?
Use the same arm for consistent measurements. The cuff should fit snugly but comfortably, with room to slide a finger underneath. Refer to the cuff’s printed alignment guide and the user manual for proper positioning instructions.
Why do my readings vary?
Blood pressure naturally changes throughout the day based on activity, posture, stress, and other factors. For consistency, take readings under similar conditions and wait at least three minutes between measurements.
Does this monitor connect to an app?
No. This model does not include Bluetooth or app connectivity. All readings are stored directly on the device using the built-in two-user memory.
Does this blood pressure monitor include product support or coverage?
Yes. Your Greater Goods blood pressure monitor includes two years of product coverage and support from our St. Louis–based team. If you have questions about setup, operation, or your device, our team is ready to help.

Works great, compact
Update 2019: just bought a 2nd one. The 1st is still accurate and working good. Just needed an extra to keep between locations. Highly recommend. As long as they make accurate quality products, I’ll be a customer. No need to waste time on researching other brands, I recommend this to anyone who needs a monitor. New model has the power port. Quality is top notch.Original from 2015: Works great, compact, easy to use. Wish it had an optional power port, and it feels a little flimsy, kind of worried about the longevity. I did take it to the local pharmacy, and checked for accuracy. it is accurate. I received the following email from them after originally leaving 4 stars (names removed)Hi ******,My name is ******** with Greater Goods, and I’m the product specialist for your Health Gurus Blood Pressure Monitor. First, and foremost, I want to say thank you for taking the time to leave positive feedback. As a small company (12 people), we enjoy having the ability to connect with our customers one-on-one to not only get feedback about our products, but strive for a positive 5-star experience.Currently, our monitor is rated at 4.7 stars, which unfortunately means your rating of 4 stars actually brings our overall product’s rating down. To us, this means we failed to deliver on our own promise of customer satisfaction. Please let us know if there is something we can do to give you a 5-star experience. Thanks,****************This to me makes me believe in the company. I was a little worried about longevity of the product, but for them to take the time and replay a personal email and not a “bulk” message showed me that even if I have an issue they will stand behind their product. I will recommend it.

Solid BP Monitor After a Rocky Start
I initially had to contact Greater Goods Customer Service because the first unit I received had a defective cuff or pump, and it wouldn’t inflate properly. Fortunately, their support team was responsive, and I was able to return the faulty unit and receive a replacement. The new unit works well and has become part of our daily routine for monitoring my elderly father’s blood pressure. We rely on the AC adapter, as the battery option doesn’t seem to function reliably. That said, the monitor is easy to use, has a bright and clear LED screen, and can store data for two users, which is a helpful feature.Overall, despite the initial hiccup, the product is serving its purpose effectively

Accurate monitor. Edited to 5 stars!
● Update – Sept 28, 2019:I’ve been using this GG bp monitor cuff for several months, & I’m increasing my original rating.Accuracy & reliability are still most important. But beyond that, I love that it’s small, & that it’s so easy to use – basically fool-proof. Earlier I’d said that the size of the sleeve made it tricky to get on. Maybe it’s gotten worn to fit where it needs to on my arm, or maybe I just got used to it, but it’s not an issue anymore. The other thing I didn’t like was the memory scrolling. Well I went & looked at the instructions & guess what – there’s a way to do what I thought it couldn’t. (Start with the Mem button from OFF)Still wish it came with a power cord, so I could use the batteries as a back-up. Otherwise I love this thing● Original (4 stars):I love having a bp monitor at home. I have a dysautomia (POTS) so it’s nice to have evidence of my symptoms – both to reassure myself, and to show others, that I’m not making it up.It’s accurate, tested against my (paramedic) husband’s cuff & stethoscope. The batteries that came with it are in the monitor; however, I noticed that taking them out wiped all my data, so I just leave them now.I store it tucked neatly in its case, with the power cord still attached and plugged in. The monitor stays cool to the touch. And I’m not using (much) battery power. Why not 5-☆?• The cuff is huge, and this makes it a little tricky to fasten properly. (My arm is about 11.75″ at bicep.)I would’ve left 5 for just this.• The main thing I’d change is how you have to scroll through the memory. There are 2 navigation buttons: “Mem” has an up-arrow, and “User” has a down-arrow. But to scroll through my memory, I can only go one way, i.e., “up.” There’s no way to scroll back down in the other direction, because the down-arrow takes you to User 2’s data.I guess I’m used to 2-way memory scrolling from 20+ years of glucose monitors. But it is annoying to have to go all the way through, just to see in the other direction – and hard to get used to, with the other button right there.Overall I’m happy with the Greater Goods bp monitor, and I would recommend it. Especially considering the company.(I’ve bought many non-medical things from their shop over the years, with some of the $ going Diabetes and Alzheimer’s research.)Oh – Don’t bother with the Asuron protection. I bought it, but later saw that the monitor came with a 2-year manufacturer warranty from Greater Goods, so I cancelled the 3rd-party insurance for a refund.

Very well designed
I have been using this device for about a week now. Very impressed with the product. It is very compact and comes with a carrying case. It has very intuitive user interface, pluse jitter detection, storage for 60 measurements for 2 users, and automatic averaging of the last three measurements.I wish it had an option to buy a smaller length cuff. The single cuff which comes with it is made long to fit all upper arm sizes. Since my upper arm is smaller in diameter I have to pull in a lot of length to tighten the cuff and the longer length of velcro makes it a bit time consuming. However, I have become faster in tightening the cuff with practice. I would strongly recommend this BP monitor.
