Seems worthless.
This thing doesn’t work worth a darn. At least I can’t make it do anything. No instructions come with it. Attached it to my water bottle, and nothing. Doesn’t seem to have any kind of “switch” to turn it on or off. Any ideas how to make it work? Or it will be going back.

It does not track automatically; my bad
I bought this product a while ago, and overall, it does exactly what it needs to.I will say that I bought it thinking that it was going to track automatically, meaning that the dial was going to turn as I was taking sips (perhaps with some sort of weight mechanism in there to help track it). I thought it was overly engineered because of the price and because the product listing lacked any kind of demonstration showing an actual person spinning the dial.It is likely a mixture of the business thinking it was implied that the device was not automatic, and me assuming it was because that is what I was looking for while browsing Amazon.Overall, it does exactly what it needs to, which is to track your water at certain intervals; it just doesn’t do it automatically. That is a little bit of negligence on my end, and a little bit on the business for not making it simple enough for me to realize it was not going to do anything automatically.
