good walking pad for the price.
i didn’t think i’d like this as much as i do. i won’t lie though the box was pretty heavy for someone like myself and the actual walking pad itself has some weight to it. the lowest speed setting also feels relatively fast if you don’t regularly walk on a walking pad/treadmill. the noise of the belt is pretty quiet. it’s also fairly simple to use and connect. the remote control has a tiny screw you need to take out to put the battery in, just be careful not to lose it because it is very small. overall the quality is good, can’t speak to the durability yet though. i love it!

Really great walking pad!!
I’m literally walking on this as I write this. It’s a great walking pad!! I’ve been looking for one for a while and this one was my lucky first buy!! It’s quiet, it holds a good amount of weight, and it’s perfect for the harsher seasons so I’m not walking in the rain or overly hot summer. And the set up was super easy!! Its amazing and definitely recommend!!😌

Checks all the boxes and is well built
Great value! The walking pad is very quiet, wont disrupt a show but definitely still noticeable if you’re not wearing headphones. I am 5’6 with a standard/long walking stride and the length is just right for me. If you have longer legs I would suggest getting something a bit longer. It came with all the maintenance supplies and is built really well. The speed tops out right as I would want to start jogging so its a 10/10 walking pad!

Treadmill
It’s nice, but if I had it to do again, I would buy one with handles. I had it running and I was walking fast. I dropped the remote control on the floor. It was hard to jump off. Don’t drop the remote control when you’re on it. It could be dangerous.

Getting Great Use
Got this for my best friend that was going through cancer treatments and she wasn’t able to move around a lot due to surgeries. We live in the midwest with snow so in winter time she really couldn’t go outside to move around for fear of falling on ice. She absolutely loves it and works from home. She will use it while she works. Now that she is on the mend and getting stronger each day she still uses it almost every day to get some steps in. She is constantly telling me how much she uses it.

Great product and excellent customer service
This walking pad is great! It is the perfect size, easy to move around and does the job for my daily walks. I was hesitant because I did not believe I would receive a great piece of exercise equipment at an excellent low price such as this. I did have one issue with my machine but I emailed customer support and I give that department a 5 star rating as well. I was promptly contacted back regarding my minor issue. We emailed several times and they were determined to solve my problems and make sure I was happy with their service and product. They followed through with everything they promised and delivered excellent customer service. I will definitely buy from this company again and I will absolutely DeerRun products again in the future.

Horrible noise
UPDATE: customer service sent me one last thing to try which fixed the problem. I had also found a similar solution, searching online that other customers had experienced. It involves unscrewing a plastic strip that goes across the belt underneath the machine and removing it. It turns out that that piece causes noise against the belt and was a poor design. The machine works fine with that component removed.********It made horrible noises from the start and the only solutions from customer service were to center the belt (it was perfectly centered) and loosen or tighten it (it was the correct tightness but tried adjusting anyways to see and it made it worse). Returning but they make you pay shipping costs back which will probably cost almost as much as the machine.

A disappointment so far…
So far, I’m not a fan of this unit. I’ve had it a little over a week, and I’m disappointed. What I don’t like:1. I was required to download a fitness app and register with an account to activate the devise, and since the included remote didn’t work, the only way to operate the unit is through the app. I don’t want to have to use an app to operate this treadmill, and it wasn’t obvious from the description that I would need to.2. As mentioned, the remote does not work. After some back and forth with customer service over email, a new remote has been sent out to me. We’ll see if it works.3. The customer service over email does not inspire confidence. Between the awkward phrasing, word choice, and grammar, I suspect it’s being autogenerated or translated from another language.4. I’m not a tall guy, in fact I’m short (5’7”), but I find it hard to walk at a natural stride without my feet hitting either one or the other end off the unit. To avoid this I have to maintain a stride that’s not natural. Perhaps it’s just a case of getting used to a treadmill, but it’s really hard to simply walk naturally on this thing. I actually find myself having to concentrate on my steps, which makes for an incredibly awkward experience.5. The rubber mat keeps sliding to the left as I walk and rubbing up on the side of the unit. That can’t be good. I’ll check the level to see if maybe that’s it.What I like:1. The price point was good. I got this unit on sale. If I’d paid full price, I’d be even disappointed.I would not recommend this to friends, nor would I buy it again. I’ll go ahead and keep it because it’s not broken, just disappointing. I bought this to get some walking in when it’s too cold, hot, or wet outside, and that will likely be all I use it for.If my opinion changes after more use, I’ll revise this review.
