For the price these are great. Not as sturdy as the pricey pair I bought and lost, but I’m only a walker on groomed trails not hiking or anything too strenuous, so they serve me fine.

Most hiking sticks are too tall for short women. This set offers enough settings for short people. The mechanisms are strong enough and perfect for a 4’10 me, making hiking quite stable and comfortable. Love the different, “feet” options for the spikes, used for a vast array of trail conditions.

My kids and I join a Girl Scouts hiking club and one of the members recommend walking sticks.This were very helpful during my first hike.They are easi to put together and store also comes with it’s own carrying case and different type of boots for different terrains

You get what you pay for
One of the poles kept getting unscrewed and would slide down when hiking ever few minutes and this really bothered me because it was happening in pouring rain on top of that and appears to have been the cause of the malfunction.The poles are also pretty shaky too when you put weight on them.They will work in a pitch for hiking on a trip and is better than having nothing at all, but they are not very good quality. You get what you pay for though, and these were only around $20 for the pair. I would recommend getting something a little more expensive that will last, because these definitely don’t feel like they will after a few uses.
