A Hidden Gem in a Sea of Earbuds
When bluetooth ear buds burst on to the scene from a specific company years ago, who new the industry would explode into dozens, if not hundreds, of companies, with varying iterations of the basic design that was the grand-daddy of them all.So when I ran across a low-cost set that could be used with my MacBook in my office, freeing up my travel pair that I kept forgetting in the office…well, I thought I would take a shot. I have not been disappointed with my simply in-office use. I cannot speak to their use in other environments and I am just not brave enough to test how waterproof an electronic device is…but if you are looking for a pair that has decent battery life (5-6 hours so far on a single earpiece), then you cannot go wrong with this version – especially given the cost. The battery case is a nice stylized “leather” feel, which provides some texture to grip. The charging port is on the bottom, so that may be a bit different compared to some other companies out there, but if you are sitting at a desk like I am, then you are good to go. It allows for the display to face up and easily read the recharging status (which might be my imagination, but was super fast) and it uses USB C – which is pretty commonplace, but they give you a USB A to USB C charging cord in case you need it.The sound is as decent as any other comparable pair and I am not worried so much if they get lost or misplaced. So for a cost to quality balance, they excel. Lastly, these are pretty portable and would not be so pronounced when carried in a pack, purse, or pocket. Oh, and that is not a scratched case readout…I just have a thing about leaving the protective film on a product until I absolutely have to remove it 🙂

It’s ok
I think it works ok. It doesn’t cancel outside noise though. It’s extremely sensitive to the touch of you have to push the buds back into your ear. It will certainly hang up a call. Became frustrating so I don’t use them much.

Didn’t work for me. Had to return it.

Why is it that the left earbud skips to the next song? It makes no sense.
It was easy to pair it to my phone. The battery duration seems to be as advertised. The sound is okay, but it is a bit loud when compared to others at full volume, It has some bass to it, the lid of the case is a bit stiff, and the placement of how you are supposed to put the earbuds back in is awkward. The case at a brief glimpse looks like leather, but if you actually look at it closely it’s easy to tell that it is plastic. The earbuds are comfortable to wear, they are not going to fall out.Why did you make the left earbud the one that skips to the next song??? This decision really confuses me. It is basically a standard to have that on the right earbud. I assumed that the images that stated that were poorly made, but nope. Even the image detailing the tap functions shows how weird that is. It shows the next song icon which is a right arrow and yet has text under it saying to use the left earbud, and the reverse for the previous song.
