Comfortable running shoe
These shoes are really comfortable and supportive. I bought them mainly for walking and running, and they feel lightweight but still very stable. The cushioning makes a big difference when I’m on my feet for a while. Overall, a great pair of sneakers and true to size.

Love these shoes!
Awesome shoes! Very cushy inside…like walking on a cloud. About 4 months ago I had bought a new pair of running shoes …a different brand and promptly injured my knee. They felt weird when I was wearing them and I should have sent them back. It felt like they were higher on the outside of the shoe which caused my feet to bend in. I stopped wearing them and found these Asics. This particular style, the GT-1000, are built for neutral to over pronators it feels like there is a slight build up on the inside of the shoe. Most people probably wouldn’t notice it but after the last pair of shoes I can tell the difference. I love them! My feet feel more stable and I think there is less stress on my injured knee. Also, I’m a walker not a runner and these are great for walking. About size: I read that they ran a little narrow and my feet tend to be a little wide so I bought the wide option which fit perfectly. One last thing. I bought the black/lilac hint. When I’m inside they look black but when I’m outside they look navy blue…kind of cool!

Love ASICS!
Great shoes, great color! I’ve been wearing Asics GT 1000 for many years and love the way they fit and feel. Very comfy right out of the box! Also love the colors! I wear them for everything, from Zumba to everyday wear. Love that I can get them online so fast!

Comfy and reliable shoes
Very comfy. No pain in my feet even after wearing it for hours. I use it for work, walking, and the gym. (I have 2 pairs in white and blue). I am usually a size 9. Ordered 9 and it fits perfect.

Great walking shoes
I love these sneakers— the denim color, the mesh fabric for warm weather, the comfort as soon as I tried them on. I use them for walking as I’m 85 years old! I had ordered a different sneaker that had more padding but found that this sneaker was more suitable for me.

Beware: these can cause back pain
These were recommended by RunRepeat for seniors. The footbed was actually comfortable but the degree of extreme toe drop threw my body out of alinement and caused back pain.Per Perplexity:” High “Real” Heel Drop: While ASICS lists an 8mm drop, experts at RunRepeat measured it at 9.6mm. This nearly 1cm difference in height between your heel and toes can shift your center of gravity forward, forcing your pelvis to tilt and your lower back to arch painfully to compensate.”So, something to think about if you believe it might apply to you.
