versatile and so, so pink
I have been wanting to step up my home workouts by adding some Pilates moves, but I don’t want to deal with the machines. As a naturally clumsy person, I try to keep things as simple as possible. So when I saw this stacked Pilates kit, I was excited. First of all, I love the pink. I am not a girly girl, but there is something about this shade of pink that just makes me smile. And I love that it’s all coordinated. My favorite part is the poster. As someone with ADHD, I have trouble remembering exercises from one day to the next, which is why I generally go for a yoga DVD or the treadmill. So having some of the basic exercises in my eye line, waiting for me, is a big help. And there are illustrations to help me make sure my stance is right, because as I said, I have some attention issues. This kit comes with a variety of tools—a block, a ring, a ball, core sliders, and a set of resistance bands—so the workouts can be adapted to where you are and what you want to accomplish. I want to strengthen my core and lose some weight, so I can focus on exercises that do that. And with all the different tools, I can try out different exercises every day if I want to. And with resistance bands in five different strengths, I can slowly work my way up from the lightest pink to the hot pink, building strength as I go.I think these Pilates tools are well made and will last through many workouts. The yoga ball comes flat and needs to be inflated, but there is a straw that helped me blow it up quickly and easily. For everything that comes in this kit, I think the price is really good, you know, as long as you like pink. It is a lot of pink. But I like the pink, and I like all the different things I can do with this Pilates kit.

Good but not best
The material feels cheap, but overall it is a great kit that fulfils the scope.

ONCE I OPENED IT! I USE IT EVERYDAY
This Pilates kit sat in the box for months before I finally opened it, but once I did, I was honestly so happy with it. The quality is fantastic, and everything feels well made. I really like that it comes with multiple pieces, including the Pilates ring, resistance bands, yoga ball, block, and core sliders, so you can do a full-body workout at home. The workout poster is easy to follow, which made it less intimidating to actually start using. Now I’ve been adding it into my daily routine for quick 10-minute exercises. It’s simple, effective, and perfect for squeezing in a workout without needing a full gym setup.

Great Starter Kit
Hopefully you find this review format helpful:Would I recommend? Yes. This is a great basic starter kit.Value for Money: 5 STARS. This is a full starter set for only $32. That’s a good deal.Quality: 4 STARS. The quality is basic. Nothing here is overbuilt or above the standard. The bands seemed thin, but when I put them to the test, they really held their own. So no complaints about that. They are good to go.Color: 5 STARS. The color is nice. It gives a sense of calm.Size: 5 STARS. The Size of each item seems to be well thought out. They seemed to hit that “Goldie Locks” point.Durability: 4 STARS. Durability should be good. But like I stated before, nothing is overbuilt. It should last you as long as you have it.Appearance: 4 STARS. It looks nice, but nothing that blows your mind.

Nice Starter Kit
This seems quite nice as a starter kit, and I’ll say now that I am myself new to Pilates and want to add it to my yoga practice. The ring, for instance, is much sturdier than expected and makes for a good beginner’s workout. The other pieces are good to have as well. The only ones I wonder about are the resistance bands, which seem a bit flimsy and don’t look like they will last very long. And watch out for those sliders! I found myself getting a bit more than I was expecting with those! That is a good thing, though one does need to be careful when starting with them. And perhaps the best part is that the set includes genuinely useful instructions–two sets, in fact, a manual and a nice chart. And while I’m not usually drawn to pink, the color of this set somehow does raise one’s spirit and put one in the mood for a workout. It may be the case that with practice you’ll want to move up to more hard-core Pilates equipment, but this set seems like a good way to get started.

I’m excited to get started!
I got this set to jump start me into trying Pilates, and I’m quite surprised that all these pieces are only $32. The set comes with a variety of sturdy-feeling pieces that I wouldn’t know what to do with if not for the easy-to-follow exercise chart that comes with it. The cheerful pink pieces can be comfortably used right out of the box with no prior Pilates experience because of the simple chart. And when you’re done, it all goes back into an included drawstring bag to keep everything tidy and clean.

I have a solid amount of experience with home fitness equipment and Pilates-style training, so I tested this ALongSong Pilates set across multiple short workouts and mobility sessions to see how practical it actually is for real-life use.The biggest strength of this set is how complete and cohesive it feels. Instead of piecing together different tools, everything you need for a full-body, low-impact workout is included and actually usable. The Pilates ring is comfortable to grip thanks to the soft silicone coating, and it has enough resistance to be effective for inner thighs, arms, and core work without feeling overly stiff or cheap. The resistance bands are clearly differentiated by strength, which makes progressive training easy. I used lighter bands for mobility and warm-ups and heavier ones for strength work, and they held tension well without rolling or snapping back uncomfortably. This makes the set suitable for beginners while still being useful if you already have some fitness experience. The mini yoga ball and yoga block are both solid additions rather than filler items. The ball inflates quickly and works well for core engagement and gentle spinal support, while the yoga block is firm enough to provide stability during stretches and balance work. The sliding discs are surprisingly effective for core-focused exercises and work well on different floor types depending on which side you use.Everything packs neatly into the included storage bag, which makes this set easy to keep organized or take on the go. The guide and poster are helpful for visual reference, especially if you’re newer to Pilates or structured home workouts. This is a practical, well-rounded Pilates kit that feels intentionally designed rather than thrown together. It’s especially well suited for home workouts, low-impact strength training, and anyone looking to improve stability, flexibility, and core strength without a lot of setup or space.

I’ve been using this Pilates set with my little patient. She recently suffered a stroke and has weakness in half her body. Because her mobility has reduced, that means her tendency towards inactivity has increased. This set has been elegant and sturdy enough to turn her seated soap opera sessions…into daily workout sessions. I’ll evaluate the performance or utility of each piece below…We’ve stress-tested every component in this set.The fitness ring has a single resistance level (non-adjustable). She’s able to put her maximum effort, with a closed grip (not the superficial open grip displayed in the advertising). And the ring gives just a little bit. It’s well built and doesn’t ever feel like it’s going to break or pop.The training bands do deliver on the promise of five resistance levels. She prefers the maximum band, because it gives her the best challenge. But I do always start her off with one set of the minimum band. It’s not flimsy or overly light. They all progressively stretch out in wider increments. She’s not in a physical position to take advantage of the yoga ball or block. But we use them as hand props for aerobic exercises. I do find them to be the weakest components of the set. They’re very small. And the yoga ball itself quickly loses air/firmness before you can plug the hole after an air pump filling. The core glide plates are interesting. At first I thought they’d be too dangerous for her. But she actually insisted on trying them – perhaps out of sheer novelty of the exercise. We have a carpeted surface…and I discovered an important caveat. These do not slide properly on “shag” carpet. But they do work perfectly on normal length (short or medium fiber) carpets. You can see their performance in the video clip attached.Overall, these pieces may seem simple or cliché (especially with the pretty pink aesthetic). But as mentioned earlier, it’s precisely the clean and elegant look of these that motivates my client to engage in exercise. If these were drab or hyper-masculine exercise aids, she would run (or waddle) away. Believe me, there’s a gym downstairs she absolutely refuses to visit lol! So if you have a similar-minded patient or client, these are a great way to incorporate effective mobility exercises during their “TV time”.

I’m 52, and I’ve never been one for public gyms—too many people, too much waiting around, and frankly I prefer exercising in my own space. So I picked up the ALongSong Pilates Kit to help me work on my strength at home, and after a few days of using it, I’m pleasantly surprised by how solid and complete it feels. The set comes in a sturdy pink box (and yes, everything inside is pink too—personally I’d prefer a different colour, but I’m not going to hold that against it). Inside you get a 35cm silicone Pilates ring, a small yoga ball, five resistance bands in graduated strengths, a foam yoga block, two core sliders, and a really clear illustrated guide. The Pilates ring is the standout for me. It has a padded silicone cover that actually feels comfortable against my thighs and arms—none of that digging-in sensation you get with cheaper foam rings. It’s firm enough to give you proper resistance but still has a bit of give where it should. The resistance bands are strong, well-labelled, and easy to mix and match depending on what you’re working on. The yoga ball inflates quickly and holds its shape, and the block is dense enough to feel stable, not wobbly. The sliders glide smoothly on both carpet and hard floors, which makes core work a bit more fun… even when it burns.I also appreciate the exercise guide. The photos are clear, the instructions are simple, and it’s perfect if you’re easing into Pilates or just want a bit of structure without scrolling through videos.Everything matches (very pink, again), and the whole kit stores away neatly, which I love. It feels like good value for a full starter setup. If I’m being picky, the ring is on the smaller side, so if you prefer a larger circle for certain exercises, it’s worth checking the measurements. But for most moves, it works perfectly well.Overall, I’m really happy with it. It’s helped me feel more confident working on my strength at home, and it’s a great all‑in‑one kit—just wish they offered it in a colour that wasn’t quite so bubblegum.

I chose the ALongSong Pilates Set for my girlfriend who recently took up Pilates. She is thrilled with this set. It includes all of the quality pieces she needs to mimic many of the exercises taught at her local Pilates class. It’s so nice to have a variety of exercise band strengths and the sliders are an added bonus! The ring has a very nice, smooth finish so it doesn’t dig into her skin. She would definitely recommend this kit.

This was a fun set! I like the little ball, it really helps work into areas I need pressure. I also like the bands and other accessories. They work well and are super cute. I’m not strong enough for the sliders yet but I’m working on it!
