Great for building muscle for senior citizens
I purchased the 70lbs (35 lbs x 2) set for myself. My son, who is a bodybuilder, mentioned that these weights are not suitable for someone who lifts heavy but are excellent for beginners. As someone in my early 70s, I wanted to gain a bit of muscle since I have noticed muscle loss over time. This set offers numerous combinations, and I enjoy the ability to customize the kettlebells. I value the versatility of this set for my exercise routine. Although my son finds it awkward and cumbersome, I believe it meets my requirements perfectly. He suggests that I only need some small dumbbells, which I already own; however, they become easy to use after a while and do not suffice for my needs. With this set, I feel I am effectively building upper body strength. Additionally, I appreciate that the weights are made of plastic rather than metal.

Simple, quality weight set for the home gym.
There’s nothing fancy about these weights, no easily adjustable dumbbells, but at least you get quality pieces at a fair price (much cheaper than those adjustable weight sets).You get a variety of accessories that allow you to change it from a barbell to two dumbbbells to a kettle ball if desired. The switching from these is cumbersome as you have a lot of screwing the pieces together when reconfiguring.Sadly, there is no container in which to store the weights and transport them.I mostly keep the set in the barbell configuration as I already have a decent set of dumbbells.The padding on the grips is soft and comfortable. These are coated in a stylish, black and yellow high density plastic that feels and looks like it will wear minimally over the years.
