Perfect size for small servings.
Perfect size for my serving sizes. Seals tightly and microwaves great. Just be careful, glass bowl will be hot. Also great size for little kiddos. I love these bowls. Even came with smaller set of utensils in their own caring case.

great, heavy-weight glass. The divider is fixed, so you cannot remove it. That’s kind of a bonus–fewer places to trap food and bacteria. The sizes are great for portion control, especially for those foods that we tend to overindulge. The lids snap on and are secure. We haven’t had any issues with leaks. They hold up well, but they are small! These are great for desserts or salty treats to control portions. But the name says bariatric, so that means it will propably portion out just the right size for folks who’ve had their stomach size reduced. The glass makes these easy to clean and keep stain-free.

Pictures are misleading, these are just too small
While these bariatric meal prep containers come with the lids and folding utensils as advertised, they are ultimately just too small. Even knowing they are labeled as 8 oz bowls, the product pictures are very misleading and make the glass containers appear significantly larger than they actually are in person. It is frustrating when the scale shown online doesn’t match reality.For anyone serious about meal prep, these are best utilized for strict portion control or small side components like dressings and snacks rather than main courses. They do help with organizing smaller portions in the fridge, but you definitely have to plan your prep around their limited capacity.That being said, the quality of the materials is actually quite high. The glass feels thick and durable, capable of handling the transition from the fridge to the microwave without any issues. I was also impressed by the seal; the lids snap on securely and create a truly airtight fit, so I don’t have to worry about leaks if they tip over in my bag. Giving this set a 3-star rating because the actual size was a letdown compared to what the photos depicted.

Perfect sizing for bariatric meal prep
I love that there are containers made specifically for bariatric patients. I had bariatric surgery nine years ago, and I can say with confidence that even now, my eyes are larger than my tummy. This set of containers is the perfect portion size for someone like me who still tends to make too much food that I can’t eat.I tried this out with grilled chicken and a salad, nuts and cut fruit, and cheese and cut veggies. In every case, I filled the container with the portion sizes and found that I could eat everything, and I was full, so it really is the perfect portion size.I’ve now made these part of my permanent rotation, and I’m wasting lees food because of these.I love that this set is five containers because I always have at least one clean and not in use that I can grab and use.The containers are of really nice quality. The glass is thick, and the tops work well. They are easy to clip on and off. They wash well in the dishwasher, and there is even travel silverware, which is kind of cool and useful if traveling.At the time of this review, the price is $29.99 for the set of 5 glass containers, and this is a good price for containers of this quality, with the thoughtful design and portion sizes for bariatric patients.

Good idea, with a few flaws
I like the concept of these bowls. I had been looking for some glass storage (to reduce my use of plastic containers) and was interested to see that these had a small two portion design. Since I am always working towards health goals and currently on Keto, I thought this would be perfect for a portion of meat and veggies. Upon arrival, I realized that there are some flaws the portions are REALLY small with each side allowing no more than half a cup of food. I know these are labelled for bariatric meal prep, so maybe that’s a positive thing for some, but for me, that feels small. Additionally, the inner barrier separating the two sides doesn’t go all the way up, so any liquid added to the container will likely make its way to the entire meal – again, this may be fine for some. Finally, because of the divider, there is no way to stack these containers compactly, and they take up a lot of room! On the positive side, the containers arrived very well packaged and although they were glass, had no cracks or chips. The glass is VERY thick and sturdy!

High quality, thick glass, two sides aren’t completely separated up to the lid
These bowls are great for portion control. The glass is very thick and heavy, and the lids seal tight with the snap on feature. The two sections do not come all the way to the top, so if the bowl is tilted, the food in the two sides could end up mixing together to a point. These are very well made and very high quality. I could take or leave the folding utensil set, although the compact nature of them does make them ideal for travel. These are a bit on the expensive side. I wouldn’t usually pay $30 for 5 containers, but because they are of a very high quality, I think they’re a decent value.
