Love how easy it is to adjust the weights
My daughter recently got into a bit of a fitness mode (perhaps an unmentioned New Year’s resolution?) but didn’t exactly like the dumbbells that I have myself. When I ran into these, I figured I’d get them for her since they appeared better for a beginner. She has since used them several times and told me she loves (and I do, too) how easy it is for the weights to be changed. Another thing she likes is that the increases between weights are less than what my own dumbbells have, the reduced increase makes it easier for her (and any beginner, I would assume) to get started at a weight that is better suited for her. They’re definitely recommended!

Not actually two 15lbs weights.
Super misleading. You think you’re getting 2 weights with max weight each at 15 lbs. I just weighed them on my food scale. The most weight the 2 of them can have at the same time is about 7lbs.

A nice set of adjustable dumbbells.
This set of Upspeed dumbbells is cleverly made, so that you can add weights to each one, starting at 3 pounds each until you total 7-1/2 pounds each. Each square you add is 3/4-pound, so to maintain balance you would add one on each end, adding a total of 1-1/2 pounds at a time, although there’s nothing stopping you from adding just the smaller 3/4-pound increment. I like that the center grip is metal with knurling to eliminate slippage, and the weights are square, which prevents rolling. Adding weights is easy and positive. The space saving weights are securely locked onto the previous weight, and there is no looseness. The entire kit is space saving, which is a huge bonus where space is at a premium. I like them, and recommend them.

Great set of light weights.
This is a good basic set of weights for someone who can’t do a lot of heavy lifting but also needs to do some strength training. As a 130lb. female, I find they are a good weight for repetitive arm exercises, and my 8 year old son enjoys using them as well. They are well built and easy to add or subtract weight. They are compact and don’t take up too much space. The shape is unique and prevents them from rolling on my uneven floors. The only down side is the price, I feel that $70 is pretty steep for a pair of weights.
