A belt that does belt things
What wasn’t immediately obvious to me that there is just one narrow opening on the front that you fit everything through that you might want to hold in the belt. This differs from some other belts that are essentially open all the way around. There is a zippered pocket in back for a phone. There is also a key clip near that front opening.For some of the bands that have many many more sizing options they are significantly less stretchy and so less bounce but if your weight fluctuates at all, especially upwards, it presents a big problem. A too tight fitting run belt during race will cause psoas issues and nerve damage. There is less chance of an issue of a belt like this. It hasn’t felt too bouncy.I fit 11 beta gels in the front and it was fine, 12 was a bit too much but still fit. PF90’s fit but it is tight. The negative about that one opening when it is on your waist, to fill it full you need to “feed” all the gels around your waist to the corners. That is the only negative thing I’ve found so far.

This is very well made and has lots of compartments to hold keys, phone, etc. But it did ride up my torso when running.

Best Running Belt! Great quality! Huge storage capacity!
2nd time I’ve purchased this belt. 5 or 6 years apart! Its the best! Huge front pocket for a Salomon 17oz soft flask , and 5 or 6 gels +. Back zipper pocket for big phone! Does not bounce and can still do pace pick ups or races with it packed!

This is my second belt. I wore the first one out. I like the fit. It’s big enough to carry my phone, keys, license, knife, gel pack, and small soft flask; all without bouncing.

Watch out for chafing
Causes serious chafing when worn over 1 hour. I keep my phone (S23 so not huge) in the open pocket, on my back.The seam under the open pocket has already started opening up.I recommend adding a couple of small, non-zipped pockets for gela.Not a bad product but for Salomon and this price point, it should be better.

I Recently took up running and my husband bought me this belt to carry my phone etc. I originally wasn’t very keen when I first saw it but from first use I was so impressed. It sits well on the waist, fits an amazing amount of items in it including an iPhone pro max, gels, running gloves, house keys etc. It doesn’t bounce or move about whilst I run. In fact I often forget I have it on. The quality is excellent as you would expect from Salomon and it enhances my running as it keeps my hands free – overall good value for money
