Easy to Assemble, Everything Works, Smooth and QUIET!
I recently had hip surgery. I do many exercises at physical therapy, but I noticed that riding the recumbent bike seems to loosen my hip, warm it up, and help with discomfort. I think it just keeps the blood flowing. At present those are the benefits I’m looking for right now; I may want to do more resistance and muscle building in the future, but for the present, this little machine as described just seemed to hit the target I was looking for. It arrived today, and I was very excited. I opened it right away and assembled it. Assembly was very easy, and very good instructions are included. That was only about a 15 minute exercise. Also there are good videos on youtube that show it to you in 2 minutes flat. I would recommend searching for one of those just to be sure you aren’t leaving anything out. I really dislike redoing things and I bet you do, too. All the parts were there and everything went together like a charm with stabilizers, feet, and straps being the main parts. The straps were already on the feet and happily fit just right, but they can be adjusted to be bigger or smaller.Although most reviews were very good, and this little unit today is the number one of 100 in physical therapy leg exercisers, some reviews had me a little concerned about how smooth and easy the pedaling would be. I couldn’t wait to use it and see which side I would fall on. I needn’t have worried. It immediately worked smoothly and pedaled easily and quietly. If you look at my video, the background noise is from the kitchen, not the device. You can hardly hear it when you’re using it. It easily goes from no or very little resistance to medium resistance, and the monitor works exactly as described. The battery was already installed. I have it on carpet. It doesn’t move around when I’m pedaling and it’s not up against any barrier. I can sit comfortably in my chair and pedal to my heart’s content. I love it!It’s exactly what I wanted, and I did also want to mention that I got it from Amazon Resale (formerly Amazon Warehouse). When I started to purchase it, the offer for the unit in “Used Like New” condition popped up for half the price! I have found that items that are “Used Like New” are just that, like new, and the price was great, so that’s the one I got. It arrived in perfect order in its original box, which actually appeared to have never been opened.I enjoy using this little exerciser, and I already know it’s going to help me improve faster. I am thrilled with this purchase. I highly recommend this Mini Exercise Bike!

Works GREAT!
I am very pleased with this item. I put it on carpet without the map that came with it.And it seemed to stay just fine. The only problem I had , and it wasn’t with the product itself. My chair was too smooth , and I kept sliding when I was working my legs. So I took the mat that came with the machine and put it on the seat and that kept my bottom from sliding. The item is lightweight to move around which I am happy because I am not a strong woman. I believe the price of the item is worth it. I do not believe you will be disappointed in this product.

it is easy enough to assemble, but the instructions are HORRIBLE! it is a lightweight, which can be a good and bad thing as it makes the machine a little unstable. quality is good. definitely NOT slip resistant. if you need it to be stable, this is not it. it came with a mat and a canvas belt that you are instructed to strap around the machine to keep it from sliding. very strange. otherwise it works well. bought this for my 88-year old parents and they like it. great for small spaces. easy to move around. it is quite and you can change the resistance levels. the only strange thing is that the knob to change the resistance levels just keeps turning. there is no point where you hit a place when it stops turning. but you get what you pay for. also not very comfortable for arm pedal. the strap gets caught on the side of the machine and makes it a little annoying to get past that ping every time.

Doesn’t really work very well
I purchased this item to help with rehab and PT from knee surgery. I just wanted to be able to move my knee in an easy bicycle action. It is pretty cheap so not expecting great things.The unit is pretty light weight, this means that it isn’t very stable and slides around while pedaling. To fix the lack of stability I placed two 15lb dumbbells on the feet at wide end of the unit – with careful placement these allow me to pedal without hitting the weights.The actual pedaling is ok, but not particularly smooth, one side has a slight catch so that there’s a minor jerkiness while rotating. I can handle that since I am not doing very extended pedaling but it would be annoying for longer periods of time.The LCD display didn’t do anything. It turns on but it doesn’t register time elapsed or rotations. I figured that it might need a new battery so removed the unit to replace the battery. It turns out that the LCD is connected to some kind of sensor that isn’t attached to anything, it’s just floating around inside the unit.. I appears that the sensor is supposed to register a small magnet(?) on the flywheel but since the sensor isn’t attached to anything nothing happens. I’m only using it for small 10 minute cycles so I can use the timer on my phone but I can’t detect rpm or anything like that. So the LCD is pretty much useless since I don’t care enough to try to find the correct attachment point for the sensor.For the price – don’t expect much and then you won’t be disappointed. This item is not something I would be using as a home exercise component, it’s useless for that since it doesn’t work very well.

Would definitely buy again
Bought for my 93 yo mother to help keep her legs strong. My disabled SIL ( Parkinson’s) uses it, too. Love that it has so many different settings depending on who is using it. We placed it on a non-skid mat to help it stay in place. Very easy to use. Easy to store and put together. Great buy
