Smaller and thinner than described.
It seems very thin, much thinner than the 9 inches it says. Also it maximum is 32 inches, not 36. Overall the description is exaggerated and I haven’t decided if I can even use it. I’m 5’10” 180lbs, so I’m not dominating the pillow with size. It’s just smaller like all the rest I could find.

Hihealer Meditation Cushion – another amazing product from this brand!
My favorite brand of meditation cushions by far. Hihealer does a really incredible job, and I have yet to purchase a bad product from them. I have this pictured next to my other buckwheat meditation cushion from the same brand, which I use all the time.This one is much bigger and softer, more like a pillow, but still very cushiony so it does not flatten under you. I use different cushions depending on my mood or activity. When meditating, I like to sit up tall, and the buckwheat pillow is amazing for posture support. This larger, fluffy pillow is incredibly comfortable for playing my sound bowls because I have to roll from side to side and front to back to reach different bowls, and this pillow makes that easy to do in a very supported way. The inside feels like chunked memory foam or padding, so it still has that moldability while remaining supportive.I have owned poorly made meditation cushions from other brands, and they are not cheap so I think it’s important to get a good brand. A well-made cushion really matters, and it can completely change your experience. This one holds its shape beautifully and is very high quality.Bonus, my kitty loves it too.One small thing I noticed, which has since been corrected, is that when I originally ordered the “Blue,” the product images were swapped with the purple version. I was actually hoping for the purple at the time, but I knew it was a toss-up when I ordered since the pictures and product labels were mismatched. They have since fixed the listing – but just wanted to note that if you order the “Blue” labeled product you will get the blue cushion even if the product showed the purple cushion at one time. In person this blue version is more lovely than expected. The bold blue and white looks great in my space, and I am very happy with it.

Careful with opening
Slightly bigger than I thought but perfect for meditation and floor sitting. Very comfortable and soft blanket feeling. The pompoms are a little delicate touch. The vacuum seal is a very good touch. Does reduce size. But, I actually did NOT have any problems with it spreading out back into shape. Kinda did it itself within 5 minutes or less. The only problem is that the warning about being careful with sharp objects opening should probably be on the box instead of inside. I was lucky I noticed what was going to be inside the box and was careful myself. The warning was in the bottom of the box after opening.
