Love my Vitamix!
My first Vitamix blender lasted 12 years and still worked, but had oil on bottom of the pitcher. Wasn’t sure if it was the blade or the gasket, but figured after twelve good years it was time for a new one.I got the Explorian E310 in July of 2025 and so far, so good. The base is not as heavy as my last one, which I actually like, but it does move around my granite countertops a little bit. I use for mainly for mixing my daily fruit and vegetable smoothie. I use frozen fruit and ice and the Vitamix has no issues with that whatsoever. In comparing the Vitamix to the Ninja (my daughter has the Ninja), the Vitamix out performs the Ninja. It pulverizes what you put in it! And I like that the Vitamix only has one “very sharp” blade at the bottom, as it makes for easier cleaning.

Vitamix is the best blender
Bought this when Amazon had a $60 off deal on the black color. Vitamix products are expensive. Especially so, considering these are only blenders, but they are the best when it comes to blending anything you put into it and the durability, (though nothing is made like it used to be, even these.)I chose the cheaper model as I don’t need the programs, nor the latest container sensing system, and the 48 oz container is just the right size for 3 of us. The 3″ blades allow for smaller quantities if making a recipe for one. The other higher-priced models have 64 oz containers and 4″ blades, but need a greater minimum quantity of ingredients to work correctly and immerse the blades. The 2 hp matches the 3″ blades and does the same job as the 2.2 hp motor does on the larger containers. So, model choice really is down to minimum batch size and what bells and whistles you feel you want, but don’t actually need!So far I haven’t found fault with the E310. It does a fantastic job of blending anything I’ve put into it, as long as you follow the loading rules; liquids first, followed by lighter ingredients like leafy material, then heavier items like apples followed by heavy ice cubes. This ensures the blades start blending the easier stuff first and the heavier items weight the load down to maintain a feed into the blades until everything is flowing in a strong vortex, completing the blend.Made lots of smoothies and also some soup, heated by the Vitamix itself in 6 minutes or so. I did struggle with a frozen dessert, but I think that was because all the fruit ingredients were frozen solid and I missed the recommendation to let them thaw a little for 10-20 minutes on the counter before blending. The Vitamix had no problem breaking down the solid frozen lumps with the aid of the included tamper, but an air pocket kept forming around the blades and the mix didn’t “flow” and produce the classic 4-segment, stiff vortex shape on the surface. Everything was too frozen. It did produce a nice sorbet though after much tampering!Clean-up is a breeze. You just rinse the container, add warm water with a couple drops of dish liquid and run at high speed. Rinse again and let dry. And that’s it!Unlike other blenders, the blades are not razor sharp and it would be difficult to cut yourself on them if wiping out the container. The “wet” container blending is all about the blade shape, the speed of rotation (most times you are running at the highest speed of 10 and the only factor to think about is run-time) and the subsequent mixing vortex driving the ingredients into the blades. For flour and other dry seed blending, you need a “dry” container, supplied separately as an accessory, but over $100 !! Its blades are a different configuration and keep the fines from broken-down seeds in suspension in the container, while the heavier seeds fall back into the blades. You can, however, make nut butters in the supplied “wet” container using peanuts, almonds, etc..The pulse function is good for “lumpy” salsa and for adding some chunks at the end of a blend for texture. I added some more baked potatoes and roasted cauliflower to the soup after blending to temperature. Then pulsed them to leave some larger chunks in the smooth soup.As with any high speed blender, these units are noisy, but we don’t live in an apartment to have to worry about the noise! We are using the Vitamix every day for healthy fruit and vegetable smoothies and look forward to a long time doing so with the 5 year warranty. Vitamix customer service is reputed to be very good. I expect an even longer life from the unit as the Vitamix is well designed.

Simply amazing.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I can’t express how much I adore my Vitamix E310 blender! This machine is an absolute powerhouse in the kitchen and has transformed the way I prepare meals. From smoothies to soups to nut butters, this blender handles everything with ease. The build quality is exceptional – sturdy, durable, and built to last. The powerful motor effortlessly blends even the toughest ingredients to a silky smooth consistency in seconds. I love how versatile it is; I can easily switch between the variable speed controls and pulse feature to achieve the perfect texture every time.Cleaning is a breeze too! The self-cleaning function saves me so much time and effort. I appreciate the simple design and high-quality materials used in the construction of this blender.Overall, the Vitamix E310 has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a true kitchen workhorse and a must-have for anyone serious about cooking or healthy eating. I highly recommend this blender to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line appliance that delivers exceptional results.

Amazing product and customer service
Lets face it, if your looking at this blender already then its not a matter of if you want it, but a matter of whether you want to spend this much on a blender. Well, I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and can say it is totally worth the investment! I make delicious healthy smoothies every day now. Just like having a Jamba Juice in your house. I even made a green smoothie with spinach and kale the other day and it had a completely smooth texture, no leafy bits or stems whatsoever. Plenty of power!Easy to clean too. I usually just rinse it after each use and then blend water with a drop of soap for a minute every other use. Couldnt be easier. Its a hefty boy though! But thats the trade off for all that power. And it stays put while blending too with no walking or virbrating all over the counter.3 year update:The machine has been running strong. However after 3 years, the blade shaft bearings siezed up in the middle of a blend. I called up Vitamix customer service since it is still within the 5 year warranty. I got an actual person from Ohio on the phone right away. Explained what had happened, gave her the serial number of the unit, and within about 5 minutes she shipped out a new pitcher for free under warranty. Yes, the pitcher is covered under warranty too! She told me to test the base with the new pitcher to make sure it wasnt damaged when the other pitcher seized, and if so to call back to set up a repair. Within a week my new pitcher was deliver and the machine is running better than ever. Absolutely stellar customer service. I would give Vitamix 6 stars if i could!

I am upgrading from a Nutri-Bullet 600 watt unit which I will say I did love for the last 5 years. However now that I wanted to start blending things like carrots, dates, ginger, kale, spinach etc. the nutri bullet was just not doing a good enough job so I decided to upgrade. I did extension research on all the available blenders out there and settled on this one.I have used it 3 times so far and holy **** does this thing pulverize anything you put into it. When you start this thing on setting 1 and slowly ramp it up to setting 10 it sounds like a jet engine starting up. (THIS UNIT IS NOISY BUT TO ME THAT IS A GOOD THING. YOU KNOW ITS DAMN POWERFUL) If it bothers you throw some earplugs in when using it. That’s what I do. The results are worth it.I have seen a couple of people mention that it doesn’t lock into the base. That to me is a good thing as it will stop the stress of the motor when starting and stopping or using the pulse feature. It hasn’t caused me any issues at all./I have seen other people mention that you cant take the blades out. Again to me that is a huge bonus. No removable parts or O-rings which can fail in the future and cause leaking. If you clean it right away you wont have any issues. You can also dump some hot water and soap and blend it for 60 seconds and that will clean anything out of it.As for the final product. My smoothie experience has just gone from a 5 to a 10. Wow it is just so damn smooth. I love making smoothies now. This is by far the best investment I have ever made and I guarantee you wont be disappointed. If loud bothers you then don’t by a high powered blender. Simple. By a low powered one and have lumpy smoothies. If you can overcome that awesome Jet engine blending power then this is the product for you.I AM BY NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS COMPANY. JUST CHECK OUT SOME OF MY OTHER REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE THAT. I AM AN UNBIASED AMAZON VIEWER WHO LIKES TO HELP PEOPLE MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND THIS IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU.

Been using this blender for about 6 months now. It’s a solid blender, comparable to the old 5000 series vitamix and does everything I hoped a vitamix would do.Pros-powerful (variable speeds with fast top end speed. Breaks through ice with ease)-smaller container is good as it fits under kitchen cabinets better, easier to clean, and is better for doing small smoothie portions which is what I generally make. You can always buy the bigger container later if you are looking to do a high volume smoothies, soups, etc.-price (being an entry level model it’s much cheaper. It doesn’t have the timed settings, but I’m my opinion those are a gimmick (as long as you have speed settings and an on/off button you’re good to go with blenders.Cons-vibration, when reading reviews there was complaints of vibration. I have noticed a bit of a vibration especially starting a harder blend with lots of ice. The vibration goes away once the ice crushes down a bit. Just put on hand on the top until the ice smooths out a bit and it’s all good.-noise (to be expected), all vitamixes are notoriously noisy because of their power, not a huge con but it’s why Starbucks uses those sound proof containers-plastic knobs feel cheap, not an issue but compared to their older models these knobs feel like a cheap appliance and could be a weak point in the future.Overall it’s a good blender, and if you can get it on sale in the low $300s I would recommend.
