My Go-To Primer for Years, Never Disappoints
This has been my go-to primer for years, and it never lets me down. It goes on smoothly, feels lightweight on the skin, and creates a great base for my makeup. I’ve found that it helps my foundation apply more evenly and last longer throughout the day.I also appreciate that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and it works well with different types of makeup products. It’s just a reliable, consistent part of my routine that I keep coming back to.Overall, a dependable primer that delivers great results every time, I highly recommend it.

Light glow by itself
Have been using this now for 2 weeks and the color is very light, glows nicely without anything over it but it does work great as the base for my Laura Geller powder foundation. Very impressed with all the Laura Geller products I have tried

Good, not amazing.
Meh. It’s good but with all the hype and the word “spackle,”, I expected something ridiculously unique and wrinkle-filling. . I got the bronze and that does have a nice color to it and leaves a nice dewy glow. It’s “ok” as a primer but beautiful when used as an everyday moisturizer when you don’t want to wear any or very little make-up.Don’t get me wrong. It’s good but I have a feeling there’s stuff out there I’d like better.

Smooth finish, no pores, works very well
So, this is a very nice primer. I put on my SPF face lotion, wait a few minutes, put on this primer, wait a few minutes and then foundation which now glides on. I do not see any pores. I am impressed. Trick is to let it dry and create a smooth finish on your skin.

Just makes me sparkly
I have used a dozen and more primers, always looking for The One. The closest I’ve found to being perfect are Benefit Pore Professional, which is ridiculously expensive or Tarte Shape Tape primer, which I catch on sale now and then. I had high hopes for something called Spackle Primer, as I have large pores and the fine lines now that I’m in my 40s. My skin is patchy red in places, cheeks and chin mostly. I tend to have combination skin, oily in the T-zone, somewhat normal to dry elsewhere. I don’t have a primer that’s supposed to help make the skin glow in my primer arsenal, so I took a chance on Champagne Glow rather than just the normal primer. I thought maybe it might be good for a date night make-up base.I have to say, despite getting it half off in price and the huge generous size (2 oz when most primers are 1 oz or less), I am pretty disappointed in it. All it does is makes my face and fingertips glittery. My skin doesn’t glow…it sparkles like there’s gold pixie dust blown on it. It does nothing to cover or shrink the look of the pores or fine lines. My makeup does not noticeably glide on smoother nor does it last longer. So in short, it does nothing you need for it to do when you wear primer as a base for your make-up. I don’t know how the normal Spackle Primer works in comparison, if its formulation is better, but for me I’d say skip the Glow formulations. I certainly won’t buy this one again. It’s only too bad I now have SO MUCH of it.

Great for mature skin!
I just love all of the Laura Geller spackle primers that I’ve tried so far. The spackle primer Diamond is my absolute favorite right now. It’s an illuminating primer that is perfect for mature skin. It’s great at minimizing pores and fine lines. It’s also very hydrating for the skin because it contains hyaluronic acid and it also has squalane and echinacea that helps to both moisturize the skin and boost collagen production. It gives you a very subtle illuminating effect that just beautifully highlights your face even underneath your foundation, which I love. I highly recommend this primer.

I like the way this feels on my skin. I can use a powder brush or foundation brush to apply. I don’t need anything else. Come through bronze !

Love, love, love this stuff. It smooths out the lines and makes the pores invisible. If using with foundation, let it dry well on your face before applying. When you remove your makeup, your skin feels soft and smooth. Some folks may find the price a little high, but I think it is well worth it. I absolutely will continue to purchase. this product.
