the platform is big enough to center most items and still have easy access to the “buttons” which are easy to use. that it has the option of regular or rechargeable batteries is a plus. the best home kitchen scale I’ve used. great value for the price.

Pretty and functional
Very nice little scale. It’s big enough to put my large bowls on, and still clearly see the display. I also love that its beautiful, has a low profile, and is easy to wipe clean. Most importantly, it is extremely accurate.

Does the job, easy to store (just drop in drawer) and easy to operate
This is a great scale. I used to have a platform style scale for years and it finally gave up. This flat on the counter design is actually and surprisingly much easier to use. I can’t really speak to its accuracy, but I’d notice if it were off by much. It’s fast and easy to switch from metric to imperial. I have not had to charge it yet.I did not buy the most expensive nor the cheapest scale, I went by the reviews here and I think it is a good value for my money. I hope it lasts as long as my last one.

Great little scale! Use it everyday
I use it everyday for sourdough and I find myself using it more and more for other things as well. My kids love playing with it and weighing different things so it keeps them engaged in the kitchen with me. The only thing I don’t like is the battery saving aspect will shut it off rather quickly in which I will then lose what I had tared or “zero’d” out like the bowl that is holding my flour. Sometimes the baby will distract me for a few moments and when I come back, I’ll have to get a new bowl, weigh it, zero it & then add the flour again. It’s nice a small and easy to clean. Good purchase!!!Also pounds and ounces is confusing at first. Pic attached. The weight is 1 pound, 7.1 ounces. The baby bottle is 3.5 ounces.

Great Basic Kitchen Scale
This scale works great in my kitchen. The numbers are easy to read and accurate. I have a 100g test weight I use to test its calibration, and have yet to see a problem. It reads very quickly, which is essential when adding ingredients to a specific measurement. I use it mostly for making sourdough bread, so it gets pretty dirty but cleans up very easily. The low profile allows many types and sizes of containers to be put on the scale. It is lightweight but sturdy. This is an all-around good kitchen scale if you are not looking for a bunch of bells and whistles.

Large surface, multi-unit, zero out option
This is a replacement scale, and it has a better surface area and weight capacity. It has units that one would use in a kitchen, plus a zero out option so one may weigh in an empty container or a container with other ingredients. For example, I use it daily to add SodaStream to carbonated water for accurate mixing.
