Comfortable and Lightweight
The vest is lightweight and is comfortable to run in! I was able to carry 2L of liquid on me and fuel and it didn’t bounce around like the other ones that I have do.

Lightweight, No-Bounce & Actually Functional? This Hydration Vest Understood the Assignment
I’ve tried a few hydration packs before, and let’s just say… some of them feel like you strapped a mini backpack full of bricks to your chest. This ECOHUB Running Hydration Vest is the opposite of that experience.First Impressions (Unboxing & Material)Right out the package, the vest feels super lightweight but not cheap. The nylon + breathable mesh combo gives it that “I’m built for performance, not just aesthetics” vibe. It’s soft, flexible, and doesn’t feel scratchy against the skin which is a BIG deal if you’re wearing it for long runs or workouts.Fit & Comfort (The Real Deal)The standout feature for me is the no-bounce design. And I don’t mean “minimal bounce”… I mean it actually stays put.Once you adjust the chest and waist straps, it hugs your body like it knows it’s on payroll. No shifting, no awkward pulling, no constant readjusting mid-run. Whether you’re jogging, sprinting, or doing a full-on cardio session, it stays secure.Hydration Setup (What You’re Really Here For)It comes with 2 soft flasks (500ML each), which is perfect for:• Long runs• Hiking• Outdoor workouts• Or just staying hydrated without carrying a bottle like it’s 2005The flasks are leak-proof and easy to drink from, and they sit comfortably in the front pockets for quick access. No fumbling, no stopping your flow.Storage (Underrated but Important)This vest is lowkey organized like a boss. You get multiple pockets that actually fit real-life essentials:• Phone (yes, even bigger ones)• Keys• Cards• Energy gels/snacksEverything has its place, and nothing feels bulky. It’s giving “hands-free main character energy.”Breathability (No Sweatbox Situation)Because of the mesh design, it stays surprisingly breathable. You’re not out here overheating or feeling trapped in fabric. It keeps airflow moving, which matters more than people realize during long sessions.⸻What I Loved:✔ Extremely lightweight but durable✔ True no-bounce fit (rare, honestly)✔ Comes with 2 quality soft flasks✔ Functional storage without bulk✔ Breathable and comfortable for long wearThings to Keep in Mind:• You do need to take a minute to adjust the straps properly at first• If you’re super petite or plus-sized, fit may require a little trial-and-error to get perfect⸻Final Thoughts:This vest does exactly what it promises without doing the most. It’s practical, comfortable, and makes staying hydrated feel effortless. If you’re into running, hiking, or even just long walks where you don’t want to carry anything, this is a solid pickup.

Fairly small.
This is an interesting backpack. I’d initially thought it had a built in reservoir, but the water bottles are an interesting option here. The bottles themselves are easy enough to deal with. They fill like a normal bottle, and compress down as you drink from them. However, this thing is tiny and I’m not that large of a person. Adjusting the back gives a bit more room, but running with 1L of water strapped to your chest is cumbersome. The bottles are also quite difficult to get in and out, you’d be stopping mid-run just to stuff them back in. Material otherwise is quite nice, and even my large iPhone 16 pro max fits in the pocket. At full price ($50), I’d say no. If you are slimmer, and it’s on sale? It’s not a bad vest by any means. It’s an OK value, but I prefer one with a built in reservoir and straw.

Pleasantly Surprised
A couple disclaimers up front. I am not a SERIOUS runner. I usually stick with 5k-10k distances doing various routes around my neighborhood. When I initially ordered this vest, I thought I received an identical vest to one I had already reviewed. However, this one is actually different and there are some things I like better. This vest seems to sit in a nice spot between durability and comfort. I probably wouldn’t choose this vest if I was hiking in heavy woods as I would fear snagging on something and the closure clips aren’t heavy-duty pieces. However, I’m also not too worried about this vest holding up around on my trips around the block. I’m 6’2″ and 190lbs and the fit is actually quite comfortable, stable, and secure. I wouldn’t want it any smaller though.I’m still waiting on the heat of summer to full see what this vest can do. I did try it for a brief run so see what it’s like to operate. As others have noted, it is a little bit of a trick getting the soft bottles back in their pouches. It’s about as difficult as getting my phone back into my belt pouch. It will require two hands and a few moments of work, but it doesn’t bother me as I can do it without stopping. It’s worth the bother as I have discovered I like using the included .5l bottles over a bladder and hose setup. It’s nice being to manipulate a bottle so I can squeeze out the amount I want rather than having to suck on a hose while I’m already winded. There is an additional pouch on the back to hold a bladder/hose setup. It’s crazy to think I could run with almost a full gallon of water capacity. I’ve also found that the front most pouch is capable of holding my phone and it’s even easier to access than my running belt. This vest and bottles are currently selling for $26.24, and I think you get a pretty good product for the price. I look forward to taking this vest out on some long hauls this season.
