Works Well with iPhone 6S Plus in Case
I’ve use this for about 5 runs so far and it’s been great for my needs. Firstly, the material it is made out of is nice and soft, so when I make it really tight on my arm, it doesn’t chaff my skin or anything like that.Secondly, it doesn’t start dropping down my arm when I run, which is good. It stays in one place and doesn’t move. The band has two slots where you can pass the other section through, so it works on big arms or small arms. I am super skinny and my arms are like twigs, but I still could get it really tight using the inner slot.I have an iPhone 6S Plus and it fits into the band with my Speck case on. It was really important for me to get one that could take my whole phone along with the case because I wasn’t about to take it out every time I went running.You can also use the touch screen through the protective cover, but you do have to press a little hard. If you try to use your phone a lot while this thing is one, you’ll be frustrated. For me, I just start RunKeeper and that’s it. Don’t try to text or do anything else because it’s not easy.Finally, the cover has a whole for the headphone jack, so you can easily listen to music while running. The only other “tough” thing to do was press the power button on the side of the phone. There is no cutout for the power button, so you have to press through the armband material, which is a bit of a pain. However, if you have your phone turn off after 30 seconds, it’s not a big deal.

Super Comfortable Sports Armband!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I have been waiting to try this product out for quite some time, when I received this in the mail I unwrapped it and inspected it thoroughly, This is a fantastic product for me or anyone else who is active all the time. The arm band is easy to insert your phone into, there is a slit in the back and your phone slides right into it. Once the phone was in the sleeve, I turned it over to check my phone screens visibility and it was crystal clear and as advertised all my phones touch screen options still functioned as they normally do. Next, I strapped this to my arm and the unit fit rather well and was more comfortable than I imagined it would be, the materials in the strap is pretty comfortable. I do a lot of bike riding which was my reason for purchasing this item to have my phone closer to my person so I could use my Bluetooth headphones and the case didn’t disappoint. I took the case out on a 10 mile bicycle ride to test the waters and never once did I have a problem with the armband moving, slipping or falling off. This case functioned exactly as described by the seller and really is a very comfortable unit to use. After having it on for quite some time on my ride I actually forgot it was even on my arm, Thank You for a Quality Product, I am looking forward to many years of use out of this Tribe Armband!Although I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my review, I do all of my reviews in an open and honest manner, because as a consumer myself I believe that everyone should get a quality product at a fair price! Great size and durable!
I have a Pixel 7 Pro and I can use this even with a case on it, so the size of the pocket for your phone is a good size. The material is really nice and it is made very well. I also love the amount of color options (I opted for purple.) The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wear this armband on my bare skin a lot of the time. As such, unfortunately, the hook side of the Velcro on the end of the strap scratches against the inside of my bicep. To fix this, I have to either bend and pinch the end of the strap (which doesn’t last that long and has to be re finagled multiple times during a run) or I wrap self adhering sports tape around the end of the strap so it doesn’t scratch and irritate my skin. The latter method does last longer but the tape does need to be replaced after a few uses. As for the touch screen working thru the plastic, my phone has a tempered glass screen protector on it and the mix of the glass and the plastic makes it hard for the phone to respond to my touch. (So basically I may not be a good judge of that..)Besides the one main inconvenience, it really is a great armband!

It’s okay, but not great…
I bought this product based on the good reviews, but I am somewhat disappointed. The armband fits snugly around my bicep, and the forearm fits well just seems odd to me, never wore one there, no big deal. I have a pretty thin case and can barely fit it into the armband, and the top slot that wraps over the top of the phone is terrible with the case on. I have an iPhone 6plus, when it is the case inside the armband, the top piece when pulled over the phone sticks out, not a fan. I wore it to do some light yard work, on my bicep, got a text and had to take it out of the armband case to use my phone, not good. BTW, I do not use the case when inserting my phone in the armband. When I took the phone out it had wet spots all over the phone because of the condensation from being in the armband. Trying to fit the headphone jack into the phone while in the case was a pain because the cut out for it does not line up well. After wearing for about an hour and a half, the case was saturated with sweat, not sure if it is supposed to be more water repellent. The build quality seems to be very well so far. The slot where you insert the phone seems to stretch out and is starting to remain stretched out because of pulling it over the top of the phone 🙁 . Fingerprint scanner doesn’t work, but that was expected, the plastic screen is not the most durable, scratches very easily. I know the armband is made for several types of phones and the design is not made specifically for the iPhone, just wish it fit better. Overall, not a bad sports armband, but for the price it’s okay.

Likes: the armband is pretty comfortable as long as you’re careful to strap the Velcro so it is only on the band (otherwise the velcro can chafe), it fits my phone (iPhone 8 plus) with a pretty hefty case, it is very secure – never falling off even at higher speed runningMild dislike – the touch screen isn’t the greatest, but better than other armbands I’ve tried

As an armband, it works completely fine. Moisture wicking is great from this one. There are times I feel the band slipping down my bicep as I run but that might just be a “me” issue. It is capable of holding my iPhone 8 Plus, with an Otterbox case on it (one of the slimmer ones though).The only real gripe I have is that the touch panel doesn’t really sit flush with my phone, making it a bit hard to use the touch screen. The cutout for the home button is nice since I still use an iPhone 8 Plus. Other than that, pretty solid product.
