Great for smoothies and blending small pieces of frozen fruit. Struggles a bit with frozen whole strawberries. Worth the money

This could use a quieter motor.
This is a large, lightweight blender. Unfortunately, it has an extremely loud motor. Another thing that needs improvement is the dial for turning it on. I have 20/20 vision and could not see any markings on the black dial to regulate the speed. I put it in the sunlight and could glimpse a black-on-black raised indicator. I made a white stick with an arrow to indicate the starting place. It now operates with ease.

Nice blender—great value!
I just got the blender a few days ago. It’s a great value for the money and a great quality product. It’s not a large size which is good for an apartment dweller. So far, I’ve made some smoothies and I tried my luck with making an açaí bowl for the first time which didn’t come out as expected but this was my first attempt and it wasn’t bad. What I especially like about the blender is that it doesn’t start until the parts are completely tightened.

Easy and Quick
My Immersion blender melted down after a short time, so I decided to go back to the old way. Prime got this delivered overnight. I had a 64 oz pitcher full of unblended fruit and veggies (all veggies and some fruit, like strawberries or berry mixes are frozen in lieu of ice cubes). The blender came pre assembled. I just rinsed out the cup and poured 40oz of the unmixed stuff from the day before. In 30 seconds I had a creamy smoothy, much smoother than my old immersion blender. The lid has slits for larger or smaller chunks. I turned it to the large side (full of doubt) but it was so finely blended that everything came through. It’s a blender, so its a little louder the immersion one, but I think that’s normal. I put 30oz of water in it and a few drops of dish soap in it and hit pulse a couple of times to clean the blades and cup. (Note: the cup and lid have a peg and groove locking system. Turn lid to left to lock with pouring slits open{good for straining, but there was nothing left to strain for me}, turn lid to right to close the pouring slits{good for cleaning}) Poured that into my dishwater in the sink and cleaned the lid in there. pretty fast. It has a removable cup in the lid that they call a measuring cup. not sure what you would measure in that little thing, so I just leave it alone. The manual says wait 2 minutes before blending again, and to wait 15-20 minutes after your third blend cycle before starting all over. My smoothy took 30 seconds and 40oz is enough that I don’t need a second batch. Great value for the money. Only time can tell about the endurance. I will update this if it stops working early on.

Doesn’t crush ice very well
I bought this blender to use to make smoothies. Specifically, because it mentions that it crushes ice. It does not crush ice. It breaks the ice into smaller chunks, but not by any stretch of the imagination was my ice “crushed”.Other than that, the blender works like a blender should.

Great little blender for my smoothie. Perfect size. Doesn’t handle even small amounts of ice well, so need to compensate.
