Love this Litte Blender
This is a super little blender. It does a good job of mixing up soft smoothies. Meaning those kind of smoothies with mostly soft and easy to blend up ingredients. It can take crushed ice and make it smaller but it has a rough time with full size ice cubes. The driving force for the blades is plastic and be aware that it will eventually break under heavy usage. I like this little blender just because it’s so easily portable and lightweight. You can mix something up real easy do a quick rinse and then throw a little extra water and soap inside and blend that and rinse it again and it’s completely clean! I got a second one as a gift for a friend’s birthday because she liked mine so much. Again, don’t expect this to be a Workhorse! I have one of the big brand names that begins with the letter n and that has a super duper motor and Metal drive train type deal and that thing will last forever. But for convenience and quick and easy to use, I reach for this little Hamilton Beach blender each and every time.

ooooh how I LOVE this blender! I use it for my protein shakes and I’m wondering how I drank the shakes before this blender. i love how portable it is, i don’t use a ton of ice cubes but start w/pulse to crush them and it works out great. “ice crushing” Also I love the color, it makes me feel fancy. Great price as well.

It does not blend ice very well (I almost choked on an ice cube from my smoothie). There’s also a smell that comes when you blend for too long.For the price it’s a good blender. Easy to clean and I like that I can remove the cup and take it with me.

Not durable if using frozen fruit.
Well, I am just a glutton for punishment. I just ordered this for the 5th time in 3 years. They seem to be pretty good until month 6 or 7. I only blend two things, a milk,-powder-frozen banana smoothie or a milk-powder-ice cube latte. The first time it stopped working, the nylon gear in the base had become shredded and would not catch. I thought this was because I was pressing on the lid so hard to make sure it did not leak. The next time the machine failed, it was the prop support in the cup, which turned but did not engage the blade. . Third time it failed, the blade in the cup was not able to push hard enough to chop the frozen fruit. I had the cup from the previous machine but it only lasted a few months more. This time, the blade does not resist the frozen bananas. It turns if empty, and can swirl liquid around, but the frozen banana, blackberries or ice cubes are too hard. I really am attached to my morning smoothie and love the ease of use of the little blender. Last experiment to keep the next blender alive, I will freeze the bananas in smaller chunks, not in the 5 or 6 inch lengths.

Perfect little blender buddy
I have too much of an attachment to this blender. From the price point, the ease of use, the reliability whatever it is.. it’s just perfect. I make a protein shake everyday with a few ice cubes, protein powder, a banana, and milk. There is no other blender I would want. I even had this same exact one in red for YEARS and it still worked perfectly fine but for some reason I donated it ??? I just thought I’d buy a more expensive “better” branded one but why?? Well I missed it so much I had to buy a new one. I accidentally dropped the cup and the bottom is cracked now BUT it still works just fine and I love it. I clean it with a big bottle brush after use. I will always rebuy this cheap blender because it is the best for my daily shakes and I love it.
