Great no-bounce options that’s bee perfect for my half-marathons
I’m a runner and I’ve put this belt through its paces. I previously owned the gray version of this belt that I just completed a half-marathon with and finished first in my age division. This new, black version I like even better due to the added reflective elements. The belt has three storage compartments. One zipper compartment is small – for money, ID, credit card, key fob, ear bud case, or something of similar size. The larger zipper pocket would hold lots of race gels, snacks, a large cell phone, or all of the above combined. The third compartment is open-topped and has a recess that the included bottle slips nicely into. I’ve also run with soft flasks in this pocket as well. They do great in there too.All of the pockets are water resistant which keeps contents dry when exposed to sweat or light rain. They aren’t waterproof in a heavy downpour, so take extra steps to protect electronics, but they do a fine job in most conditions we run in.This version of the belt has a few more reflective elements on the belt, including an elastic band. It’s nice to be seen – even in a black belt. The belt doesn’t bounce or jostle. It just holds on and carries everything you need. When I’m running I’ll typically spin the belt around so that the bottle rides on the small of my back. When I need it, I spin it around, pull it out of its pocket, use it, and return it. You don’t want the belt super-tight for that reason…so you can put the bottle back in the pocket while on the run. Practice before race day and you’ll be in great shape. The double-hook and loop fasteners work great. This version of the belt even comes with a belt extender, if needed. It also came with a free cooling towel, which is lightweight and promises to be nice this upcoming summer in my state of Arkansas.Sometimes a vest is just too much to mess with. For half-marathon distances, I can tell you from experience this belt works great and compared to others on the market, the price really gives you no reason to not give it a try.

Convenient and stable for runs
As I have been running with this belt, I have been pretty impressed. The size fit as the recommended chart, which was for me a size “Large.” The nice thing about it is that it is easily adjustable so you can make it tighter or looser, and it comes with an added extension piece to make it larger if necessary. I have had running belts before, but this is the first that is the same rectangular size all the way around. (My other belts have a pouch) But, even with the same size all the way around, it fits plenty of items and is actually really convenient. I think it helps with the stability on runs, and doesn’t jostle or bounce around. The pockets fit my phone nicely, and although the water bottle fit, I wanted to see if I could put in other water bottles. I used a disposable 500ml water bottle, and even though it was round, it fit in the water pouch and I could easily pull it out and put it in, which was a huge bonus for me. Note – the water pouch does NOT have a zipper, but just a small opening to the pocket so that you slide the water bottle in and out.The few areas I think could be improved include:1. The tip of the belt that goes through the loop. It’s a grey reinforced tip – but I found that it was larger than I would have liked, so it is a bit of a pain trying to feed it through the loop to tighten the belt around my waist. If it was a bit narrower, that would have helped.2. The zipper ends are these small thin ends that don’t feel very strong. I have to be careful not too pull hard as I’m afraid it might come right off. During a run, that can be a bit challenging, so I wish the zipper and zipper ends could have been made a bit more durable.Other than that, it’s a great belt. I found it really comfortable around my waist and wide enough to store everything I need, without bouncing around.

Great for those who like to remain orderly while running
Great product for multiple tasks. I know when I start distance running again this belt will become extremely handy. Right now I wear it when I take my dogs for their walk. The separate pockets keeps the items I chose to bring with me in order for a quick retrieval. The smallest pocket holds my headphone case and house keys. The bigger pocket with a zipper holds my phone, hard candy, and the sweat rag it comes with. The last pouch is the one for the provided water bottle. At first I found it difficult because the drinking hole was too small for ice. But I did find a solution by leaving approximately an inch of water in the bottle and place the whole thing in the freezer. This assures me crisp and cold water for my outing. The belt itself is very light (even with so much in the pockets) and the Velcro buckle gives one a sense of stability that the belt won’t fall down. The stretch of the same buckle all so insures a stability for the belt and my items. Because of the individual pouches, the belt lays nicely flat against one’s body and does not allow the items it carries to gather and bulk up inconveniently.
